For their Panamera S/4S Touring Edition Exhaust, AWE Tuning knew the tone and volume had to be spot on. It needed to deliver an exotic wail at full throttle yet be quiet and civil during part throttle, around town driving. Countless research and development efforts by their Fabrication and Engineering Departments have yielded the finest Panamera exhaust on the market.

AWE Tuning exhausts are like bespoke suits: each is hand made utilizing only the finest casing and packing materials, and they command respect without calling unwanted attention to themselves. As exhaust gases exit the 4.8L engine and flow into an AWE Tuning 180 Technology equipped resonator, they pass through strategically located ports, and into reflection chambers. Sound waves, carried by these exhaust gasses, bounce off the walls of the reflection chambers. By controlling the size and location of the ports and the chambers, they also control when the sound waves exit the chambers. The specific timing of when the reflected sound waves re-join the main exhaust flow creates a one-hundred-and-eighty-degree out-of-phase sound wave that cancels out problematic frequencies.
