Wheels & Rims Buying Guide

Every wheel on this page is one we sell. The guide below covers what wheels cost, the sizes our customers run, and the measurements that decide whether a wheel fits.

What Wheels Cost

Our prices are per wheel. Here is the range most of our wheels fall in for each size (the middle half of the styles we carry in that size):

17 inch wheels: $280 to $410 each
18 inch wheels: $260 to $420 each
20 inch wheels: $370 to $600 each
22 inch wheels: $480 to $770 each
24 inch wheels: $710 to $1,120 each
26 inch wheels: $760 to $1,050 each

Flow formed wheels mostly run $400 to $750 each and forged wheels $850 to $1,100. A set of four 20 inch wheels usually comes to $1,500 to $2,400 before tires. The price on the wheel's own page is always the current one.

What Our Customers Run

The 4,054 customer builds in our gallery show what works. Of the builds with a wheel size on record, 20 inch is the most common at 42%, then 19 inch (17%), 22 inch (15%) and 18 inch (13%).

78% of the builds that list a suspension sit at stock height, and 91% of the builds that list modifications needed none: no trimming, no spacers. 46% run a staggered setup, wider in the rear than the front. Black is the most common finish, on 44% of all builds.

Will It Fit?

Add your vehicle at the top of the page and you only see wheels that fit it. These are the measurements behind that:

Bolt pattern. The number of lugs and the circle they sit on, like 5x114.3 or 6x139.7. It has to match your hubs exactly. Shop 5 lug, 6 lug or 8 lug wheels.

Diameter and width. A bigger wheel needs a lower profile tire to keep the same overall height. The tire size calculator shows how a new tire size compares to the one you have.

Offset and backspacing. Offset is how far the mounting face sits from the center of the wheel, and it decides whether the wheel tucks in or sticks out. Backspacing measures the same thing from the inner edge. Check a new setup with the wheel offset calculator or the wheel backspacing calculator.

Center bore. The hole in the middle of the wheel. When it is bigger than your hub, hub rings fill the gap, and they come with your order when your vehicle needs them.

Load rating. Heavy trucks and SUVs need wheels rated to carry their weight. Call us at 800.242.9883 if you are not sure.

Cast, Flow Formed or Forged

Cast. Aluminum poured into a mold. The most common wheels and the most affordable.

Flow formed. A cast wheel whose barrel is spun and pressed under heat, which makes the barrel thinner and stronger, so the wheel weighs less than a cast wheel of the same size. Shop flow formed wheels.

Forged. Cut from a block of aluminum that was pressed under great force. The strongest and lightest wheels, and the most expensive. Shop forged wheels.

Wheel and Tire Packages

Pick a wheel and size, then click Add Tires on the wheel's page to build a package. Chrome lug nuts are free with a wheel and tire package, and hub rings come with your order when your vehicle needs them. Mounting, balancing and TPMS sensors are available for an added cost. See how our wheel and tire packages work, and the setups our customers run on popular trucks and cars.
