For the 2025-2026 model year Aston Martin launched the DBX S as the new flagship of the lineup, with carbon ceramic Brembo brakes as standard and 23 inch wheels from the factory. The Aston Martin DBX Bolt Pattern and Hub Bore

Every DBX runs 5x128 with a 75.1mm hub bore and M14x1.5 lug bolts. The 5x128 pattern is the Aston Martin family spec and has held across the standard DBX (2020-2024), the DBX 707 (2022-2024), and the DBX S (2025-2026). The same pattern appears on the DB9, DBS, and Vantage grand tourers and sports cars. The 5x128 pattern is rare in the broader aftermarket. It is not the same as 5x130 (the Porsche and VAG SUV grand tourer spec used on the Cayenne, Bentayga, and Urus) or 5x114.3 (the most common five lug pattern in the aftermarket). The 3mm separation between 5x128 and 5x130 is enough that the wheel will not seat correctly on a DBX hub and the lug bolts will stress against the wheel face if forced. Stick to wheels that are explicitly listed as 5x128 for the DBX.

The hub bore is 75.1mm and the lug spec is M14x1.5 bolts (not studs with separate nuts). Aston Martin threads lug bolts directly into the hub the same way the VW Group and most European manufacturers do. There is no stud to pre align the wheel before tightening, so the hub centric fit matters more on a DBX than on a stud and nut car. A wheel with a centerbore larger than 75.1mm needs hub centric rings to bring the bore down to the DBX hub diameter. The DBX sharing the 5x128 pattern with the Aston Martin grand tourers is unusual for a manufacturer that builds across an SUV and a sports car body style. Why the DBX S Brake Package and 23 Inch Wheel Drive Fitment

The standard DBX and the DBX 707 (2020-2024) ran a steel Brembo brake package as the factory configuration on most cars. The 2025-2026 DBX S ships with carbon ceramic Brembo brakes as standard, with a front rotor that is physically larger than the rear rotor. That front to rear brake split is normal on a performance SUV of this caliber. The front axle handles the majority of the braking load on a vehicle that weighs roughly 7,720 lb and the engineers scale the front rotor and caliper accordingly. The carbon ceramic caliper face is also physically larger than the steel Brembo and takes more room behind the wheel spokes. Wheels with deeply concave back surfaces need verification against the DBX S brake package before they go on the car. The bolt pattern, centerbore, and lug spec do not change between the standard DBX, the DBX 707, and the DBX S.

Every DBX is factory staggered with a wider rear wheel and a wider rear tire than the front. The DBX is an all wheel drive performance SUV with the Mercedes-AMG 4.0L twin turbo V8 forward of the cabin and the drivetrain mass biased toward the rear axle under hard acceleration. The factory ships a noticeably wider rear to plant the power and balance the visual stance, and the aftermarket window respects that staggered geometry. Square setups (same width front and rear) are not how the DBX is meant to run.

The DBX S also runs a 23 inch wheel from the factory, which is what sets it apart from most other SUVs in our catalog. Aston Martin engineered the wheel well, the brake package, the suspension, and the tire profile around a 23 inch wheel from the start on the DBX S. The standard DBX and DBX 707 ran smaller factory diameters, typically 22 inch on most configurations, which is part of why the DBX S brake clearance window is tighter than the earlier cars.
