The V8 Vantage ran from 2006 through 2018 with a 4.3L V8 at launch and a 4.7L V8 from 2009 onwards, with a V12 Vantage and V12 Vantage S sitting at the top of that production line. The New Vantage launched in 2019 with a Mercedes-AMG 4.0L twin turbo V8 and is currently in production, with a refreshed model arriving for 2024. The Aston Martin Vantage Bolt Pattern and Hub Bore

Every modern Vantage runs 5x128 with a 75.1mm hub bore and M14x1.5 lug bolts. The 5x128 pattern is the Aston Martin family spec and has held across the V8 Vantage (2006-2018) and the New Vantage (2019 and up). The same pattern appears on the DB9 and DBS grand tourers and on the DBX SUV, which is why a wheel built for an Aston Martin platform will bolt to the Vantage hub. The 5x128 pattern is rare in the broader aftermarket. It is not the same as 5x130 (the Porsche and VAG grand tourer spec) or 5x114.3 (the most common five lug pattern in the aftermarket). It is also not the same as 5x115. The 3mm separation between 5x128 and 5x130 is enough that the wheel will not seat correctly on a Vantage hub and the lug bolts will stress against the wheel face if forced. Stick to wheels that are explicitly listed as 5x128 for the Vantage.

The hub bore is 75.1mm and the lug spec is M14x1.5 bolts (not studs with separate nuts). Aston Martin threads lug bolts directly into the hub the same way the VW Group and most European manufacturers do. There is no stud to pre align the wheel before tightening, so the hub centric fit matters more on a Vantage than on a stud and nut car. A wheel with a centerbore larger than 75.1mm needs hub centric rings to bring the bore down to the Vantage hub diameter. Why the Vantage Body and Brake Package Drive Wheel Choice

The V8 Vantage (2006-2018) is the original modern Vantage. It launched in 2006 with a 4.3L V8 and was updated in 2009 with a larger 4.7L V8. The V12 Vantage and V12 Vantage S sat at the top of that production line and dropped Aston Martin's 6.0L V12 into the same body. The V8 Vantage ran a steel brake package as standard with a carbon ceramic option offered on the V12 Vantage S and other late variants. The New Vantage launched in 2019 as an all new car with a Mercedes-AMG 4.0L twin turbo V8, a wider track, and a more aggressive aerodynamic body. Aston Martin refreshed the New Vantage for 2024 with more power and updated bodywork. The standard brake package on the New Vantage is steel Brembo, with carbon ceramic Brembo available depending on model year and configuration. The bolt pattern, centerbore, and lug spec do not change between any of these Vantage variants. What changes is the wheel face clearance behind the front caliper when carbon ceramic brakes are on the car, because the ceramic caliper face is physically larger than the steel package and takes more room behind the wheel spokes. The front brake is larger than the rear on every modern Vantage, which is normal on a performance sports car of this caliber.

Every modern Vantage is factory staggered with a wider rear wheel and a wider rear tire than the front. Aston Martin built the Vantage as a front engine, rear drive sports car with the V8 (or V12) forward and the drivetrain mass biased to the rear axle. The factory ships a noticeably wider rear to plant the power and balance the visual stance. The New Vantage staggered split is particularly pronounced because the AMG twin turbo V8 puts more torque to the rear wheels than the original V8 Vantage did. Square setups are not how a Vantage is meant to run.
