The BMW X2 Bolt Pattern

Every BMW X2 uses 5x112 with a 66.56mm hub bore. That holds across the F39 (2019-2023) and the current U10 (2024 and up). The X2 is built on the BMW UKL platform, the same front-drive and xDrive all-wheel-drive architecture used for the X1 (F48 and U11), the MINI Cooper Countryman, and the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer. The 5x112 pattern on the X2 differs from the 5x120 pattern BMW uses on the rear-drive 3 Series, 5 Series, and most BMW sedans. A wheel from a current 3 Series will not bolt onto an X2, even though both wear the BMW roundel.

The X2 and X1 share the same UKL platform underneath, so a 2019 or newer X2 and a 2016 or newer X1 (F48 or U11) share the 5x112 / 66.56mm bolt pattern, hub bore, and broadly the same fitment box. A wheel listed for an F48 X1 will mount on an F39 X2, and a wheel listed for a U11 X1 will mount on a U10 X2. The X2's lower roof and more aggressively-raked body do not change the wheel hub geometry. Where the two SUVs diverge in the aftermarket is on styling preference rather than fitment math. The X2 customer base leans toward a more aggressive stance and the X1 customer base leans toward a more conservative crossover look. Why the X2 Generation and Trim Matter

The X2 chassis stepped forward at the 2024 model year from the F39 to the U10. BMW redesigned the body, stretched the wheelbase slightly, and modernized the interior, but the 5x112 / 66.56mm bolt pattern and the underlying UKL platform philosophy carried across. The F39 (2019-2023) supports an aftermarket diameter window from 17 to 19 inch in our measured catalog. The U10 (2024 and up) opens the window wider with more wheelhouse clearance, supporting diameters from 19 to 22 inch in the aftermarket. The M35i variant on both generations runs the most aggressive factory package, with a stiffer suspension tune and larger factory-spec wheels than the base sDrive28i and xDrive28i.

The X2 ships square from the factory and the dominant aftermarket build is also square. The UKL platform is a front-drive chassis in base form (sDrive) with xDrive all-wheel-drive optional, and a wider rear wheel does not add anything functional on a front-drive or full-time-AWD compact crossover. Drivetrain choice does not change the wheel fitment box on the X2. The sDrive front-drive and xDrive all-wheel-drive variants share the same bolt pattern, hub bore, diameter window, width window, and offset window within a given generation. What drivetrain does affect is how the X2 feels under power and the wear pattern on tires.
