The Buick Enclave is Buick's full-size three-row luxury crossover and one of the longest running platforms in the modern Buick lineup. The Enclave has been through two generations, with a meaningful platform change between them. The 1st gen Enclave (2008-2017) ran on the GM Lambda platform with a 6x132 bolt pattern and a 74.5mm hub bore. The 2nd gen (2018 and up) moved to the GM C1XX platform and the bolt pattern changed to 6x120 with a 66.9mm hub bore. The 2025 model year brought a substantial Enclave refresh, but the bolt-on architecture stays on the C1XX 6x120 / 66.9mm spec our catalog covers across the 2018 and up year range. The two 6-lug patterns look similar at a glance but the difference is 12mm of bolt circle (132mm versus 120mm), and the hub bore changes too, so wheels do not cross between the 1st gen and the 2nd gen. The Buick Enclave Bolt Pattern

The Enclave has used two combinations of bolt pattern and hub bore across its two generations. The 1st gen (2008-2017) ran 6x132 with a 74.5mm hub bore, the GM Lambda platform spec. The 2nd gen (2018 and up) runs 6x120 with a 66.9mm hub bore on the GM C1XX platform. The lug count is 6 across both generations. The thread pitch is M14x1.5.

The two 6-lug patterns are close enough on paper that buyers occasionally try to cross wheels between a 1st gen and a 2nd gen Enclave. They do not cross. The bolt circle is 132mm on the older platform versus 120mm on the newer platform, a 12mm difference that is well outside the tolerance any wheel can absorb. Why the 2018 Platform Transition Changed the Fitment Window

The 2018 model year was a full redesign for the Enclave. GM moved the Enclave from the older Lambda platform (the 1st gen) to the new C1XX architecture, the same crossover platform that underpins the current Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia, Cadillac XT5, and Cadillac XT6. The platform change shifted the bolt pattern to 6x120, reduced the hub bore to 66.9mm, and brought new suspension geometry. The aftermarket fitment window changed at the same time. The 1st gen ran 18 to 22 inch wheels with a wider width range. The 2nd gen narrowed the width window and continues through the current production year. The 2025 Enclave brought a styling refresh and updated interior but stayed on the C1XX 6x120 / 66.9mm spec.

The Avenir luxury trim on the 2nd gen Enclave does not change the bolt-on architecture. Bolt pattern, hub bore, and lug spec are identical across Avenir and the lower-trim Enclaves. The variable is wheel size from the factory, since Avenir ships with larger 20 inch wheels from the dealer versus 18 inch on Preferred and Essence trims. All trims share the same fitment window for aftermarket wheels.
