Buick Encore Aftermarket Wheel Fitment

The Buick Encore is Buick's subcompact crossover, sold in North America from the 2013 through 2022 model years. It rode on the GM Gamma II small-vehicle platform. The Encore carries a five-lug 5x105 bolt pattern with a 56.5mm hub bore across the entire 2013-2022 run. The fitment box stays consistent from the 2013 launch through the final 2022 model year. Element Wheels measures Encore fitment across the run, and the catalog shows a single 5x105 / 56.5mm CB bolt-on architecture all the way through. The factory configuration is square (same width front and rear). The Encore was discontinued in North America after the 2022 model year. The Buick Encore GX is a separate vehicle on a different platform and uses a different bolt pattern, so the GX is covered on its own page and does not interchange with the Encore.

The Buick Encore Bolt Pattern

Every Buick Encore (2013-2022) uses 5x105 with a 56.5mm hub bore. Five lugs. The 5x105 pattern is the GM Gamma II small-vehicle platform spec and is also used on the Chevrolet Trax (2015-2022) and the older Chevrolet Sonic. The 5x105 pattern is uncommon in the broader aftermarket. It is not interchangeable with the more familiar 5x100 or 5x108 patterns even though the numbers look close. The bolt circle difference is large enough that the lug studs do not seat correctly across patterns, so confirm 5x105 specifically before ordering.

The Buick Encore GX is a different vehicle. The GX launched for the 2020 model year on the GM VSS-F platform and uses a five-lug 5x115 bolt pattern, which is the modern Buick sedan spec, not the small-vehicle 5x105 spec. Encore wheels do not cross to an Encore GX, and Encore GX wheels do not cross to an Encore. Confirm which vehicle you have before ordering. The Buick Encore Fitment Box

The Encore is a small platform with tight wheel-well clearance compared to the larger Buick crossovers. The factory wheel diameter is 18 inch on the upper trims and 18 inch is also where our measured aftermarket window sits. The width range is narrow at 7 to 8 inch, and fitment is square front-to-rear across the run. Smaller diameters in the 17 inch range can be installed but the visual proportions get bottom-heavy on a crossover that already sits closer to the ground than the Enclave. 18 inch is the most common build target on the Encore and what our catalog covers.

For the Encore that means clearance from the wheel to the fender, gap between the back of the wheel and the suspension, brake caliper height, hub protrusion, lug seat depth, and turning clearance with an 18 inch wheel installed.
