Cadillac CT6 Aftermarket Wheel Fitment

The Cadillac CT6 is the full-size luxury sedan that served as Cadillac's flagship four-door from the 2016 model year through 2020. It runs on the GM Omega platform, a rear-wheel-drive (with available AWD) architecture distinct from the smaller Alpha 2 platform that carries the CT4 and CT5. Cadillac discontinued the CT6 for the US market after the 2020 model year. China-market production continued for the years following, but the US year range is closed: 2016 to 2020. Element Wheels tracks two CT6 catalog rows. The standard CT6 (2016-2020) carries a 5x120 bolt pattern with a 66.9mm hub bore, square fitment, and our aftermarket diameter window of 19 to 22 inch. The CT6-V (2019-2020), the high-performance trim with the twin-turbocharged 4.2L Blackwing V8 and Brembo brakes at both axles, shares the same 5x120 / 66.9mm spec with a tighter 20 to 22 inch diameter window in our catalog. Both trims are square (non-staggered). Compare across the rest of the Cadillac lineup at our Cadillac wheels and rims hub.

Find Your Cadillac CT6 Configuration

Pick your trim to see wheels and rims that fit your specific CT6. Bolt pattern, hub bore, and the square (non-staggered) fitment stay the same across both rows: 5x120 / 66.9mm CB. What changes is the diameter window (the CT6-V starts at 20 inch in our catalog where the standard CT6 starts at 19) and the brake package (Brembo at both axles on the CT6-V).

The Cadillac CT6 Bolt Pattern

Every Cadillac CT6 and CT6-V uses 5x120 with a 66.9mm hub bore. That covers the standard CT6 (2016-2020) and the CT6-V (2019-2020) in our catalog. The 5x120 / 66.9mm spec is the same bolt pattern and hub bore that the smaller CT5 sedans use on the Alpha 2 platform, so within the modern Cadillac sedan lineup (CT5 and CT6) the lug math matches. The CT6 sits on the GM Omega platform, which is a different chassis architecture from the Alpha 2 cars: longer wheelbase, more rear seat room, and the CT6-V's exclusive Blackwing V8 powertrain. The bolt pattern matching does not mean the wheels cross between CT5 and CT6, because the brake packages, offset windows, and clearance constraints are different.

The 66.9mm Cadillac hub bore is its own spec. It does not match the BMW 5x120 hub bore (72.56mm) or the Lexus LS 5x120 hub bore (60.1mm), so wheels sized for those platforms will need a hub centric ring to fit a CT6 correctly. The CT4 sedan, also Cadillac on a related platform, runs 5x115 on the standard CT4 and CT4-V (inherited from the ATS) with a 5x120 spec only on the CT4-V Blackwing. CT4 and CT6 do not share a bolt pattern across their standard trims.

Why the CT6-V Brake Package Matters

The standard CT6 and the CT6-V share a platform and a bolt pattern, but the brake hardware is different. The standard CT6 (2016-2020) carries a Brembo front brake setup with conventional rear calipers. The CT6-V (2019-2020) ships with the 550-horsepower twin-turbocharged 4.2L Blackwing V8 and a larger Brembo brake package on both axles. The rear brake on the CT6-V is bigger than the rear brake on the standard CT6, which tightens the rear wheel-face clearance window even though the bolt pattern is identical. That is normal on a performance trim of this caliber. Cadillac scales both the front and rear rotors and calipers on the V to match the V8's grunt.

Element Wheels Measured Aftermarket Fitment, Cadillac CT6

Publishable factory and wheel specs across the CT6 trims:

  • CT6 (2016-2020): 5x120 bolt pattern, 66.9mm hub bore. Element aftermarket diameter range: 19-22 inch. Aftermarket width: 8-9 inch front and rear. Square (non-staggered). Brembo front calipers.
  • CT6-V (2019-2020): 5x120 bolt pattern, 66.9mm hub bore. Element aftermarket diameter range: 20-22 inch. Aftermarket width: 8-9 inch front and rear. Square (non-staggered). Brembo brake package at both axles, with the rear brake larger than the standard CT6's rear setup.

For your exact aftermarket offset, three options:

  • 1. Use our Year/Make/Model search to see wheels that fit your specific CT6 (each listing shows its own offset).
  • 2. Browse the CT6 wheel gallery for real-life builds with size, offset, and tire spec captions.
  • 3. Call or chat with our team for a free fitment consultation.

Every wheel we recommend is backed by our Fitment Guarantee. If a wheel does not fit, we pick up the wheels and refund 100 percent. No risk to you.

How We Confirm Fitment on Cadillac CT6 Wheels

Element Wheels measures fitment on the platforms we sell wheels for, including both CT6 trims. For the CT6 that means clearance from the wheel to the fender, gap between the back of the wheel and the suspension, front and rear brake caliper height (the CT6-V Brembo rears are taller than the standard CT6 rears), hub bore confirmation to the 66.9mm Cadillac hub, lug seat geometry, and turning clearance. At our fitment facility in Chandler, Arizona, the Element Wheels team measures directly on the physical platforms we support. We don't pull specs from manufacturer sheets the way most retailers do. The CT6-V is the rarer of the two trims (single-year and a half of production), and our measurements on it are based on the car itself, not on an extrapolation from the standard CT6.

Cadillac CT6 Wheels and Rims FAQ

What is the bolt pattern on a Cadillac CT6?

Every Cadillac CT6 and CT6-V uses 5x120 with a 66.9mm hub bore. That covers the standard CT6 (2016-2020) and the CT6-V (2019-2020) in our catalog. The pattern matches the modern Cadillac CT5 sedans on the Alpha 2 platform, although the CT6 itself sits on the larger Omega platform.

What years was the Cadillac CT6 sold in the US?

2016 through 2020 model years for the US market. Cadillac discontinued the CT6 for North America after the 2020 model year. The CT6-V was sold only in the 2019 and 2020 model years. If you are shopping for a US-market CT6, the year range is closed at 2016 to 2020.

CT6 vs CT6-V: do they take the same wheels?

Bolt pattern, hub bore, and width window are the same (5x120 / 66.9mm, 8-9 inch widths). The diameter window starts higher on the CT6-V (20 inch versus 19 inch on the standard CT6) and the CT6-V carries a larger Brembo brake package at both axles. That bigger rear brake on the CT6-V tightens rear wheel-face clearance compared to the standard CT6. A wheel set built for a standard CT6 will not always fit a CT6-V correctly.

Are Cadillac CT6 wheels staggered?

No. Both the standard CT6 and the CT6-V run square (non-staggered) fitment in our catalog at 8-9 inch widths all four corners. The CT6 was offered with AWD on most US trim levels, and the all-wheel-drive system rotates tires evenly, which is one reason the fitment is square. Picking a staggered set on a CT6 is not something we recommend.

What is the largest wheel I can fit on a Cadillac CT6?

Our measured aftermarket window tops at 22 inch on both the standard CT6 and the CT6-V. 20 and 21 inch are the most common picks on a full-size luxury sedan in this class. 22 inch is the upper-end choice and requires the right offset and tire profile.

Do I need hub centric rings on a Cadillac CT6?

Hub centric rings only when the aftermarket wheel has a centerbore larger than 66.9mm. BMW-bored wheels (72.56mm) on a CT6 need a 72.56-to-66.9mm hub centric ring to land hub-centric. If your fitment needs rings, they'll be included with the order.

Will CT5 wheels fit a CT6?

The CT5 and CT6 share the same bolt pattern and hub bore (5x120 / 66.9mm). Wheels will physically bolt across. The offset windows are different (the Omega-platform CT6 carries different chassis geometry than the Alpha 2 CT5) and the brake packages do not match between the standard cars, so a wheel that fit a CT5 will not always sit right on a CT6. Use the Year/Make/Model search to confirm a wheel was fit-tested on the CT6 specifically.

How do I find the right wheels for my specific Cadillac CT6 build?

Three steps. Confirm your trim (standard CT6 or CT6-V) and year (2016-2020 for the standard, 2019-2020 for the V). Use our Year/Make/Model search to see wheels that fit your specific CT6 (each listing shows its own offset) and browse the wheel gallery for real-life builds. If you are on a CT6-V, contact our team for a free fitment consultation before ordering because of the larger Brembo brake package. Every wheel we recommend is backed by the Fitment Guarantee.
