Chevrolet Corvette Aftermarket Wheel Fitment
The Chevrolet Corvette has run continuously since 1953 across eight generations and one of the biggest platform pivots in American performance car history when the C8 went mid-engine in 2020. Corvette aftermarket wheel and rim fitment splits cleanly into two eras: the C1 through C7 front-engine cars on the GM legacy 5x120.65 (5x4.75) bolt pattern with a 70.3mm hub bore, and the C8 mid-engine cars on 5x120 with a 66.9mm hub bore. On the C5 forward, brake package and trim drive the fitment window. Base, Z51, Z06, Grand Sport, ZR1, and E-Ray with steel or carbon ceramic brakes each sit differently. Element Wheels has measured fitment across every Corvette generation we carry and tracks the brake-trim splits as separate fitments. Pick your generation below.

The Chevrolet Corvette Bolt Pattern
From the C1 in 1953 through the C7 in 2019, every Corvette used 5x120.65, the GM legacy muscle pattern also written as 5x4.75 in imperial. Hub bore was 70.3mm across the entire C1 through C7 run. That kept seven generations of Corvette on a single bolt pattern for sixty-six years.
The C8 changed it. When Chevrolet moved the Corvette to a mid-engine layout for the 2020 model year, the platform got a new bolt pattern and a new hub bore. The C8 runs 5x120 with a 66.9mm hub bore. The 0.65mm difference between 5x120.65 and 5x120 is small enough that the patterns sound identical at a glance, but the studs do not line up. A C7 wheel will not bolt to a C8, and a C8 wheel will not bolt to a C7. If you are cross-shopping wheels between Corvette generations, verify the bolt pattern before you buy. Compare across the rest of the Chevrolet lineup at our Chevrolet wheels and rims hub.
Narrowbody or Widebody: Trim Decides Corvette Wheel Fitment
On the C5 and forward, the trim badge on the back of your Corvette decides more about wheel fitment than the model year does. Base, Z51, Z06, Grand Sport, ZR1, and E-Ray each ship with a different combination of fender width, wheel and tire size, and brake caliper. The brake especially matters. Carbon ceramic packages on the C6 Z06, C7 Z06, C7 Grand Sport, C8 Z06, and C8 E-Ray narrow the inner clearance window further than the steel brake version of the same trim. We track steel brake and carbon ceramic variants as separate fitments because the clearance picture shifts.
The widebody Corvettes are the C6 Z06 and Grand Sport, the C7 Z06, Grand Sport, and ZR1, and the C8 Z06, E-Ray, and Grand Sport. Their rear fenders take a wider wheel than the narrowbody car of the same generation. On the C7, the Stingray's rear wheels run 10 to 11.5 inches wide and the Z06 and Grand Sport run 11.5 to 12. Pick the trim first, then the wheel.

| C8 Z06, E-Ray and Grand Sport 2023 and up | Widebody | 20 to 21" | 10 to 10.5" | 12.5 to 13" |
C1 through C7 use the 5x120.65 (5x4.75) bolt pattern and a 70.3mm hub bore, with M12x1.5 studs from the C4 on. The C8 uses 5x120, a 66.9mm hub bore, and M14x1.5 studs. The C1 takes 15 to 18 inch wheels and the C3 15 to 20 inch, both square.
Offset windows on the modern Corvette are tightly controlled and depend on your trim, brake package, and ride height. For your exact offset, three options:
- 1. Use our Year/Make/Model search to see wheels that fit your specific Corvette trim (each listing shows its own offset).
- 2. Browse the Corvette wheel gallery for real-life builds with size, offset, and tire spec captions.
- 3. Call or chat with our team for a free fitment consultation.
Factory Style Corvette Wheels
Factory style wheels, also called replicas, copy Chevrolet's own Corvette designs. They are the most ordered C7 wheels in our 2026 orders, and C5 and C6 owners order the C7 Z06 style FR22 too, since the C5 through C7 all use 5x4.75. Each listing's fitment table shows its sizes and offsets, and the vehicle search above the product grid narrows the list to your car.
- C8 designs (5x120): Factory Reproductions FR401F (C8 Z06 style), OE Replica CV02 and CV03, and MRR M024 and M755. The FR401F also comes in 5x4.75 for the C6 and C7.
- C7 designs: Factory Reproductions FR22 (Z06 style), FR25F (Grand Sport style), FR26 (Z51 style) and FR29 (ZR1 style), and OE Replica CV22 (Z06 style), CV31 (ZR1 style), CV02 and CV03.
- C6 designs: OE Replica CV06, CV07 (Z06 style) and CV08 (ZR1 style), and MRR M024 and M755 for the C6 and C7.
- C5 designs: OE Replica CV04 (Z06 style) and CV05.
- C4 design: OE Replica CV01 (ZR1 style) in 17x9.5 front and 17x11 rear.
How We Confirm Fitment on Chevrolet Corvette Wheels
Robert measures fitment on the cars at our Chandler, Arizona facility: clearance to the fender and the suspension, brake caliper height (steel versus carbon ceramic matters most on the Z06, Grand Sport, and E-Ray), hub protrusion, lug stud height, and turning clearance. Each trim with its own brake package or fender width gets its own measurement, taken on the car, not copied from a spec sheet.
That measurement work is what produced the trim-specific fitment windows on this page. It is also why every wheel we recommend is backed by our Fitment Guarantee. If a wheel does not fit, we pick up the wheels and refund 100 percent. No risk to you.
Chevrolet Corvette Wheels and Rims FAQ
What is the bolt pattern on a Chevrolet Corvette?
It depends on the generation. From the C1 in 1953 through the C7 in 2019, every Corvette uses 5x120.65 (also called 5x4.75 in imperial) with a 70.3mm hub bore. The C8 from 2020 and up runs 5x120 with a 66.9mm hub bore. The 0.65mm difference is small enough that the patterns sound identical, but the studs do not line up. A C7 wheel will not bolt to a C8.
What is the difference between C7 and C8 Corvette wheels?
C7 wheels and C8 wheels are not interchangeable. The C7 runs 5x120.65 with a 70.3mm hub bore and M12x1.5 thread. The C8 runs 5x120 with a 66.9mm hub bore and M14x1.5 thread. The bolt pattern changes by 0.65mm, the hub bore changes by 3.4mm, and the stud thread pitch changes. The C8 also ships a much wider rear wheel from the factory because of the mid-engine layout. If you are upgrading from a C7 to a C8, plan on a new set of wheels.
Can you run a square (non-staggered) setup on a Corvette?
It depends on the trim. On the C1 and C3, square is the only setup because the factory ran square from the dealer. The C4 is square or mild stagger. From C5 forward the factory setup is staggered and the fender is sized for it. On the C8 Z06 and E-Ray, plan on staggered: our catalog's front widths stop at 10.5 inches and its rear widths start at 12.5, so one width cannot fill both ends. On C5, C6, C7 Stingray, and C8 Stingray and Z51, staggered is the common aftermarket choice but a thoughtful square setup is workable for customers who want tire rotation flexibility.
What is the largest wheel I can fit on a Corvette?
On the C8 Z06 and E-Ray our catalog supports up to 21 inch with rear widths up to 21x13. The C8 Stingray and Z51 also top out at 21 inch with rear widths up to 21x12.5. C7 trims top out at 20 inch with rear widths up to 20x12 on the Z06 and Grand Sport. C5 and C6 base accept up to 20 inch with narrower widths. C3 and C4 accept up to 20 inch but most customers stay between 17 and 18 to keep ride quality and tire availability reasonable. C1 typically stays at 15 to 18 inch. Pick your generation above to see the exact range for your year.
