Every 2012-2020 Chevrolet Sonic, sedan or hatch, runs 5x105 with a 56.5mm hub bore. The lug thread is M12x1.5, a narrower lug than the 14x1.5 thread used on most modern full-size GM platforms. The 5x105 pattern is shared with the Chevrolet Cruze gas car and the older Chevrolet Bolt EV, and with several European Opel platforms (Astra J, Insignia A, Ampera-e). It is not shared with any modern Chevrolet SUV or truck, so a wheel that fits a Sonic will not bolt onto a Trax, Trailblazer, Equinox, or any larger GM crossover. The Sonic is the smallest 5x105 platform Chevrolet sold in North America.

The 5x105 pattern is uncommon enough in the modern aftermarket that the wheel selection is narrower than on a more popular pattern. We catalog Sonic-fit wheels separately and verify each one against the 56.5mm hub bore directly rather than assuming a generic 5x105 wheel will fit the Sonic's specific hub geometry. The 5x4.5 imperial nickname (114.3mm = 4.5 inch) refers ONLY to 5x114.3, not to 5x105. A 5x114.3 wheel is roughly 9mm wider than 5x105 on the hub circle and will not seat on a Sonic hub. The LT, LTZ, Premier, and RS trims are content and appearance packages, not separate fitment rows. They all share the same 5x105 / 56.5mm spec and the same aftermarket window.
