The Chevrolet Venture Bolt Pattern

The 1997-2005 Chevrolet Venture uses a 5x115 bolt pattern with a 70.3mm hub bore and an M12x1.5 lug thread. 5x115 is the standard GM passenger-car and crossover pattern of the era. The Venture shares the 5x115 spec with the Chevrolet Impala, Monte Carlo, Malibu, and Equinox of the same period, along with the FWD versions of the U-body minivan family. The simplest way to confirm your Venture is 5-lug is to count the lug nuts on one wheel. Five studs means 5x115 on every Venture from 1997 through 2005.

Important distinction: 5x115 is NOT the same as 5x114.3, even though the numbers look close. The two patterns are 0.7mm apart at the bolt circle, which is past the wheel-machining tolerance you can rely on. Running a 5x114.3 wheel on a 5x115 hub puts stress on the studs at the most loaded part of the wheel and is not safe. Confirm any wheel listing says 5x115 specifically before ordering for a Venture. Why Venture Fitment Is Stable Across Every Trim

The Venture rode on the GM U-body minivan platform across all nine production years. Base, LS, LT, and the Warner Bros. Edition trims of the same model year share the same bolt pattern, hub bore, lug thread, and brake package on the catalog. The Venture was offered in two body lengths (a short-wheelbase and an extended-wheelbase) and the hub geometry is identical between them. A wheel that fits a 1999 Venture LS short-wheelbase also fits a 2004 Venture LT extended-wheelbase on bolt pattern, hub bore, and lug thread. The Venture body styling refreshed mid-cycle in 2001, but the hub stayed the same. There is no factory performance Venture in the U.S. market that would have warranted a different hub or brake spec.

The Venture is a same-platform twin to the Pontiac Trans Sport (1997-1998), the Pontiac Montana (1999-2005), and the Oldsmobile Silhouette (1997-2004) built on the GM U-body chassis. All four nameplates share the same 5x115 bolt pattern, 70.3mm hub bore, and M12x1.5 lug thread on the FWD U-body chassis. A wheel that fits a 2000 Venture also fits a 2000 Montana or Silhouette of the same drivetrain.

The diameter window we comfortably measure on the Venture runs 15 inch on the low end up to 20 inch on the show-build end.
