Ferrari 612 Aftermarket Wheel Fitment

The Ferrari 612 Scaglietti is the front engine V12 2+2 grand tourer Ferrari built from 2005 through 2011 as the successor to the 456M GT and the predecessor to the FF. The 612 ran a 5.7L naturally aspirated V12 in rear wheel drive form across a single body style with four seats, an aluminum spaceframe shared platform development with the 599, and a steel Brembo brake package as standard with carbon ceramic offered as an option later in the run. The 612 uses 5x114.3 with a 67.1mm hub bore and M14x1.5 lug bolts, which is the modern Ferrari spec adopted across the 458, 488, F8, California, Portofino, Roma, 812, SF90, and Purosangue. The 612 is factory staggered with a wider rear wheel than the front because the front mounted V12 puts the drivetrain mass forward and the rear axle handles the power delivery. Use the production range card below to reach the 612 fitment page or read on for the bolt pattern detail.

Find Your Ferrari 612 Generation

The 612 Scaglietti ran a single generation from 2005 through 2011. Pick the production range card below to see wheels and rims that fit the 612 in its 2+2 grand tourer form. Bolt pattern, hub bore, and lug spec are the same across every 612 build. The steel Brembo brake package was standard, with carbon ceramic available as an option late in the production run.

The Ferrari 612 Bolt Pattern and Hub Bore

Every Ferrari 612 Scaglietti from 2005 through 2011 runs 5x114.3 with a 67.1mm hub bore and M14x1.5 lug bolts. The 5x114.3 pattern (sometimes written as 5x4.5 because 114.3mm equals 4.5 inches) is the modern Ferrari spec, adopted across the 458, 488, F8, California, Portofino, Roma, 812, SF90, and Purosangue. It is the most common five lug pattern in the broader aftermarket so wheel selection on the 612 is wider than on the older 5x108 Ferraris like the 360 and F430. The 67.1mm hub bore is the Ferrari modern lineup centerbore and is tighter than the 5x114.3 patterns used on Japanese platforms (typically 64.1mm or 70.5mm) and tighter than the German 5x112 platforms (typically 66.5mm or 66.6mm). Aftermarket wheels designed for the broader 5x114.3 market often run a larger centerbore and need hub centric rings to step down to 67.1mm on the 612.

The lug spec is M14x1.5 bolts (not studs with separate nuts). Ferrari threads lug bolts directly into the hub the same way most European manufacturers do. There is no stud to pre align the wheel before tightening, so the hub centric fit matters more on a 612 than on a stud and nut car. Compare across the rest of the Ferrari lineup at our Ferrari wheels and rims hub.

Why the 612 Brake Package and 2+2 Layout Shape the Wheel Choice

The 612 Scaglietti shipped with a steel Brembo brake package as standard across most of its production run, with a carbon ceramic Brembo option offered later in the run. The bolt pattern, centerbore, and lug spec do not change between the steel and the carbon ceramic packages. What changes is the wheel face clearance behind the front caliper. The carbon ceramic Brembo caliper face is physically larger than the steel Brembo and takes more room behind the wheel spokes, so wheels with deeply concave back surfaces need verification against the brake package you actually have. The front brake is larger than the rear on the 612, which is normal on a performance grand tourer of this caliber. The front axle handles the majority of the braking load on a front engine, rear drive V12 and Ferrari scaled the front rotor and caliper accordingly.

The 612 is factory staggered with a wider rear wheel and a wider rear tire than the front. Ferrari built the 612 around a front mounted 5.7L V12 with rear wheel drive in a 2+2 (four seater) layout, putting the drivetrain mass forward and the power delivery at the rear axle. The factory ships a noticeably wider rear wheel to plant the V12's output and balance the visual stance, and the aftermarket window respects that staggered geometry. Square setups (same width front and rear) are not how the 612 is meant to run. The 612 is also one of the few four seat V12 Ferraris, with a wheelbase noticeably longer than the two seat berlinettas. Wheel choice on a 612 reads more grand tourer than racetrack.

Element Wheels Measured Aftermarket Fitment, Ferrari 612 Scaglietti

Publishable factory and wheel specs across the 612 production run:

  • 612 Scaglietti (2005-2011, steel Brembo): 5x114.3 bolt pattern, 67.1mm hub bore, M14x1.5 lug bolts. Factory staggered. Front brake larger than rear. Steel Brembo brake package standard across most of the run.
  • 612 Scaglietti (late production, carbon ceramic Brembo option): 5x114.3 bolt pattern, 67.1mm hub bore, M14x1.5 lug bolts. Factory staggered. Front brake larger than rear. Carbon ceramic Brembo brake package optional, with a larger caliper face than the steel package.

Offset and diameter windows on the 612 sit inside the modern Ferrari grand tourer fitment family. For your exact aftermarket offset, three options:

  • 1. Use our Year/Make/Model search to see wheels that fit your specific 612 (each listing shows its own offset).
  • 2. Browse the 612 wheel gallery for real-life builds with size, offset, and tire spec captions.

How We Confirm Fitment on Ferrari 612 Wheels

Element Wheels measures fitment on the Ferrari platforms we sell wheels for, including the 612 Scaglietti front engine V12 2+2 grand tourer. For the 612 that means clearance from the wheel to the fender on the production body, gap between the back of the wheel and any suspension components, brake caliper height for both the steel Brembo and the optional carbon ceramic Brembo packages, hub bore confirmation at 67.1mm, lug bolt seat depth for M14x1.5 bolts, and the staggered front to rear width and offset relationship that holds on every 612 build. At our fitment facility in Chandler, Arizona, the Element Wheels team measures directly on the physical platforms we support. We don't pull specs from manufacturer sheets the way most retailers do.

Ferrari 612 Wheels and Rims FAQ

What is the bolt pattern on a Ferrari 612?

Every 612 Scaglietti from 2005 through 2011 runs 5x114.3 with a 67.1mm hub bore and M14x1.5 lug bolts. The 5x114.3 pattern is the modern Ferrari spec, the same as the 458, 488, F8, California, Portofino, Roma, 812, SF90, and Purosangue. It is the most common five lug pattern in the broader aftermarket, so wheel selection on the 612 is wider than on the older 5x108 Ferraris like the 360 and F430.

What is the hub bore on a Ferrari 612?

67.1mm across every 612. Because the 612 uses lug bolts threaded directly into the hub (not studs and nuts), the hub bore handles the centering job at speed and the bolts handle the clamping. A wheel with a larger centerbore than 67.1mm needs hub centric rings to bring the bore down to the 612 hub diameter.

Did the 612 come with carbon ceramic brakes?

Most 612 Scagliettis shipped with the steel Brembo brake package as standard. Carbon ceramic Brembo was offered as an option later in the production run. The bolt pattern, centerbore, and lug spec are the same on both packages. The carbon ceramic caliper face is physically larger than the steel Brembo and takes more room behind the wheel spokes, so wheels with deeply concave back surfaces need verification against the brake package you actually have. The front brake is larger than the rear on both packages, which is normal on a performance grand tourer of this caliber.

Are Ferrari 612 wheels staggered?

Yes. The 612 ships factory staggered with a wider rear wheel and a wider rear tire than the front. Ferrari built the 612 around a front mounted 5.7L V12 with rear wheel drive in a 2+2 (four seater) layout. The factory specs a noticeably wider rear to plant the V12's output and balance the visual stance. Square setups (same width front and rear) are not how the 612 is meant to run.

Will 458 or 488 wheels fit a Ferrari 612?

At the bolt pattern and hub level, yes. The 458, 488, and 612 all share 5x114.3, the same 67.1mm hub bore, and the same M14x1.5 lug bolts. Offset and brake clearance still need to be verified because the 458 and 488 are mid engine V8 berlinettas with their own fender geometry and the 612 is a front engine V12 2+2 grand tourer with different fender lines and different fitment windows. The bolt math says the wheels cross. The back of wheel clearance, the fender clearance, and the staggered widths need verification per chassis.

Will F430 wheels fit a 612 Scaglietti?

No. The F430 (and the 360 before it) runs 5x108. The 612 runs 5x114.3. Different bolt patterns. The wheels will not bolt on. Ferrari ran the older 5x108 pattern on the 360, F430, and 575M Maranello, then moved to 5x114.3 on the 612, the 458, and every Ferrari built since.

What is the lug spec on a Ferrari 612?

M14x1.5 lug bolts across every 612. Ferrari threads lug bolts directly into the hub instead of running fixed studs with separate nuts. The bolt holds the wheel against the hub face with no stud to pre align the wheel during mounting. Hub centric fit matters more on lug bolt cars because there is no stud to pre align the wheel, so wheels with the correct 67.1mm centerbore are preferred over wheels that need rings.

Do I need hub centric rings on a Ferrari 612?

Hub centric rings only when the aftermarket wheel has a centerbore larger than 67.1mm. If your fitment needs rings, they'll be included with the order.
