The Genesis GV70 is the brand's compact luxury SUV, the GV80's smaller sibling and the volume seller in the Genesis SUV lineup. It launched as a 2022 model and competes with the BMW X3, the Mercedes GLC, the Lexus NX, and the Audi Q5. The GV70 lineup includes 2.5T inline-four, 3.5T V6 Turbo, and the all-electric Electrified GV70 trim, and every variant from 2022 and up runs the same Hyundai and Kia luxury 5x114.3 bolt pattern with a 67.1mm hub bore, an M14x1.5 lug bolt, and a 5 lug count. The factory ships the GV70 with 18 to 19 inch wheels on the 2.5T base trims, 19 to 20 inch on the 3.5T trims, and 21 inch on the Sport Prestige and Electrified trims. The Sport package ships with a larger front brake than the base 2.5T trims, which is the normal configuration on a performance luxury SUV where the front axle handles most of the braking force. Element Wheels has measured fitment across both brake packages from 18 inch through 24 inch. The GV70 is a square (non-staggered) fitment.

The Genesis GV70 Bolt Pattern

Every Genesis GV70 from 2022 and up runs 5x114.3 with a 67.1mm hub bore. The imperial nickname for this pattern is 5x4.5 because 114.3mm equals 4.5 inches exactly. The lug count is 5, the thread pitch is M14x1.5, and the hub spec is shared across the Genesis sedan and SUV lineup, including the G70, G80, and G90 sedans and the GV60 and GV80 SUVs. If you also own another Genesis vehicle, the bolt-on architecture is identical even though the actual wheel and tire size you would shop for differs because the GV70 is sized between the smaller GV60 and the larger GV80.

One detail worth flagging because we have seen it confuse buyers. 5x114.3 is NOT the same pattern as 5x115. The two sit roughly 0.7mm apart on the hub circle and a wheel built for one will not properly seat on the other. The GV70 is 5x114.3 only. The imperial nickname 5x4.5 refers to 5x114.3 specifically (114.3mm equals 4.5 inches). The 5x115 pattern lives on some American sedans like the Chrysler 300 and the Dodge Charger, and those wheels will not fit your GV70. Why the GV70 Sport Trim Changes the Fitment Window

The GV70 ships in a base brake configuration on the 2.5T inline-four trims and in a larger Sport brake configuration on the 3.5T Sport, Sport Prestige, and Electrified trims. Front larger than rear on the Sport package is the normal configuration for a performance luxury SUV. The front axle does most of the braking work and Genesis scales the front rotor and caliper accordingly. The Sport brake package raises the diameter floor on usable wheels and changes inner-barrel clearance requirements on the front wheel. Bolt pattern, hub bore, and lug spec are identical across both trims.

The factory configuration is square (same width front and rear) on every GV70 trim, including the Electrified GV70 which is the battery-electric version of the platform. Both rear wheel drive and all wheel drive (HTRAC) GV70s share the same wheel fitment box. Drivetrain is not a variable on this platform.
