The Acadia Limited (Lambda body) sold alongside the all-new 2017 C1XX Acadia in the same model year, on two different bolt patterns. Check the badge on the tailgate. "Acadia Limited" is Lambda 6x132. "Acadia" without the Limited tag is C1XX 6x120.

The GMC Acadia Bolt Pattern Changed at the C1XX Transition

The 1st gen Lambda Acadia (2007-2016) and the 2017 Acadia Limited carryover run 6x132 with a 74.5mm hub bore and 14x1.5 thread pitch. 6x132 is a 6-lug pattern shared with the Lambda-platform Chevrolet Traverse, Buick Enclave, and Saturn Outlook of that same generation. The Lambda Acadia is the larger crossover body. Wheel selection on the Lambda generation is constrained by 6x132 availability, which is a less common aftermarket bolt pattern than 6x139.7. Most Element catalog Acadia wheels for the Lambda generation are 18 to 22 inch diameters with 8 to 9.5 inch widths.

The 2nd gen C1XX Acadia (2017-2023, excluding the 2017 Acadia Limited Lambda carryover) moved to 6x120 with a 66.9mm hub bore. 6x120 is the same 6-lug pattern used on the GMC Canyon 2nd gen, the Chevrolet Colorado 2nd gen, the Chevrolet Trailblazer, and several modern GM crossovers. Hub bore is 66.9mm. Thread pitch stays at 14x1.5. The C1XX Acadia is a smaller crossover body than the Lambda Acadia. GM downsized the Acadia at the platform change.

The 3rd gen Acadia (2024 and up) continues 6x120 with the 66.9mm hub bore and 14x1.5 thread pitch. GM upsized the 3rd gen body again, closer to the Lambda's original footprint, but kept the C1XX-era bolt pattern. The 6x120 hub-bore-and-stud-spacing combination is the same as the 2017-2023 C1XX Acadia, so 2nd and 3rd gen wheels cross-bolt at the wheel-to-hub interface. Acadia vs Traverse, the 2017 Limited Trap, and Trim Notes

The GMC Acadia and the Chevrolet Traverse share platforms across every generation from 2007 forward. The Lambda generation Acadia (2007-2016) and Lambda Traverse (2009-2017) ran 6x132 with the 74.5mm hub bore. The C1XX Acadia (2017-2023) and C1XX Traverse (2018+) moved to 6x120 with the 66.9mm hub bore. Same bolt pattern, same hub bore, same thread pitch. Wheels measured against the Traverse can cross to the Acadia of the same generation, but always confirm the listing was tested on both vehicles before ordering. Width and offset windows are measured per body, not assumed from a sibling platform.

The 2017 model year is where customers get tripped up. GMC sold the Acadia Limited (a one-year carryover of the Lambda body on the older 6x132 pattern) alongside the brand-new 2017 C1XX Acadia (6x120) in the same model year. The tailgate badge is the tell. "Acadia Limited" with the Limited designation is the Lambda 6x132 carryover. "Acadia" without the Limited tag is the C1XX 6x120 new platform. The Acadia Limited was sold only for 2017 and only as a holdover for fleet and rental buyers who wanted the larger Lambda body one more year.

The Acadia Denali trim is a luxury appearance package, not a different platform. Denali Acadias share the bolt pattern, hub bore, brake clearance, and aftermarket window of the standard Acadia of the same generation. The factory wheel size on Denali trims is typically the 20 inch option on the Lambda generation and the 20 inch option on the C1XX generation. AT4 trim on the C1XX and 3rd gen Acadia is a trim package, not a platform change, and follows the same fitment as the standard model.

For the Acadia that means clearance from the wheel to the fender, gap between the back of the wheel and the front strut, brake caliper height across both 18 inch (Lambda) and the 18 to 20 inch C1XX brake packages, hub protrusion and bore confirmation across the 74.5mm Lambda hub and the 66.9mm C1XX hub, lug seat geometry on the 14x1.5 thread, and turning clearance at full lock on the larger 22 inch diameters.
