Every GMC Sierra 1500 from 1999 forward runs 6x139.7 (also called 6x5.5). Factory hub bore is 78.1mm across every generation. The Sierra 1500 and the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 are the same truck under the GMC and Chevrolet badges, so wheels swap freely between Sierra 1500 and Silverado 1500 of the same generation. What does NOT cross is the half-ton 6x139.7 Sierra 1500 to the heavy-duty Sierra 2500 / 3500 trucks. Those run an 8 lug pattern (8x180 on most modern HDs) and the wheels do not interchange. Count the lug studs first. 6 studs means Sierra 1500. 8 studs means Sierra HD.

The factory OEM offset window is where the four generations of Sierra 1500 actually differ. GM has shifted the factory wheel offset over the years as the truck grew in width and the brake packages stepped up. Why Sierra 1500 Fitment Splits at the Suspension

The bolt pattern on the Sierra 1500 has been stable for over 25 years, so customers often think any 6x139.7 wheel will fit. It does bolt up. Whether it sits right inside the fender and clears the suspension at full lock is a different question. The biggest variable on this truck is suspension height. A wheel that fits flush at stock height will tuck inside the fender once the truck is leveled, and the same wheel can rub the upper control arm or the inner liner once a 4 or 6 inch lift goes on. We measure each lift height separately at our facility in Chandler, Arizona. The 2019 and newer T1 truck has an additional "Trimming Required" catalog row at the 2-3 in. leveled w/ 33 in. tires fitment for buyers who want the deepest stance and are willing to trim the fender liner.
