Every HR-V from the 2016 1st gen through the current 2nd gen (2023 and up) runs 5x114.3 with a 64.1mm hub bore and M12x1.5 lug nuts. The imperial nickname for 5x114.3 is 5x4.5 because 114.3mm equals 4.5 inches. The bolt pattern is shared with the rest of Honda's car platforms (Civic 2004 and up, Accord, CR-V) and the modern Acura platforms. The Honda HR-V Bolt Pattern

Every Honda HR-V from the 2016 1st gen through the current 2nd gen (2023 and up) runs 5x114.3 with a 64.1mm hub bore and M12x1.5 lug nuts. Honda has held the same spec across the US-market HR-V lifespan. The imperial nickname for 5x114.3 is 5x4.5 because 114.3mm equals exactly 4.5 inches.

One detail that catches buyers: 5x114.3 is NOT the same as the 5x115 pattern used on some American sedans. The two patterns sit roughly 0.7mm apart and are not interchangeable. The imperial nickname 5x4.5 refers ONLY to 5x114.3. The Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger LX, and Dodge Challenger use 5x115, and those wheels will not fit your HR-V. Stick to 5x114.3 / 5x4.5 specifically.

The 5x114.3 / 64.1mm spec on the HR-V matches the rest of Honda's car platforms: the Civic from 2004 forward, the Accord, the CR-V across all six generations, and the 1st and 2nd gen Odyssey (1995-2004). It also matches the Acura RDX and MDX, and the older Acura RSX, TSX, and ILX. The wheels bolt to the same hub. What does not always cross is offset and fender clearance, because each platform has different body proportions. Honda's mid-size SUV and truck platforms (Pilot 2009 and up, Ridgeline, modern Passport, modern Odyssey) run 5x120 instead, and those wheels do NOT fit the HR-V. Why HR-V Fitment Stays Compact

The HR-V is built on Honda's global compact platform, sharing its underpinnings with the Honda Fit (1st gen HR-V) and the Honda Civic (2nd gen HR-V). It is a subcompact crossover, smaller than the CR-V, and the aftermarket wheel window reflects the smaller body. Element's measured aftermarket diameter range runs 17 to 20 inch across both HR-V generations. Aftermarket width runs 7 to 8 inch. 18 inch is the most common aftermarket choice on both 1st and 2nd gen HR-V because the tire sidewall stays comfortable on a smaller daily-driven crossover at that diameter. Going above 20 inch on an HR-V is not something we generally recommend. The wheel and tire weight starts to fight the lighter chassis and the tire sidewall thins enough that ride quality drops materially.

The HR-V is square (non-staggered) on every generation. The same wheel and tire spec belongs on every corner. The HR-V is a FWD or AWD subcompact crossover without a rear-biased drivetrain, so there is no benefit to running a wider rear wheel. AWD also benefits from matching tire diameter front and rear for the AWD coupling to operate normally.
