The 1st and 2nd gen Odyssey (1995-2004) ran 5x114.3 with a 64.1mm hub bore and M12x1.5 lug nuts, the same spec as the Accord and Civic of that era. When Honda moved the Odyssey onto a new platform for the 2005 model year, the bolt pattern moved to 5x120 with the same 64.1mm hub bore and M14x1.5 lug nuts. Every Odyssey from 2005 forward has stayed on 5x120 / 64.1mm. The hub bore stayed constant at 64.1mm across every Odyssey generation, which makes hub centric rings predictable across the entire lineup. The Honda Odyssey Bolt Pattern Changes Once

The Odyssey has exactly one bolt pattern transition in three decades of production. The 1st gen (1995-1998) and 2nd gen (1999-2004) both ran 5x114.3 with a 64.1mm hub bore and M12x1.5 lug nuts, the same spec as the Honda Accord and Civic of that era. When the redesigned 3rd gen launched for the 2005 model year, Honda moved the Odyssey to a new platform and the bolt pattern moved with it: 5x120 with the same 64.1mm hub bore, and a larger M14x1.5 lug stud to handle the heavier vehicle. The 3rd gen, 4th gen (2011-2017), and current 5th gen (2018 and up) all run 5x120 / 64.1mm / M14x1.5. No exceptions across the lineup.

The detail that catches owners: 5x114.3 carries the 5x4.5 imperial nickname (114.3mm equals 4.5 inches). 5x120 has no imperial nickname. It is 5x120 only. A wheel from a 1st or 2nd gen Odyssey (5x114.3 / 5x4.5) does not bolt onto a 3rd gen or newer Odyssey (5x120), and a 5x120 wheel from a 2005-and-up Odyssey will not bolt onto the earlier two generations. The lug nut also changes at the same transition point: M12x1.5 on 1995-2004, M14x1.5 on 2005 and up. The 5x120 pattern on the 2005-and-up Odyssey is the same bolt pattern used on the modern Honda Pilot (2009 and up), the Honda Ridgeline, and the modern Honda Passport. Wheels often cross between these Honda light-truck platforms on bolt pattern alone, though body proportion and offset windows differ enough that we measure each vehicle separately. Why Odyssey Fitment Prioritizes Ride Quality and Load

The Odyssey is a family minivan with a curb weight in the 4,400 to 4,700 pound range loaded, designed around three rows of passenger comfort. The aftermarket wheel choices reflect that. Most Odyssey owners stay between 17 and 20 inch for the modern 3rd, 4th, and 5th gens, with 18 inch the most common upgrade. Going larger than 20 inch on an Odyssey trades ride quality for visual change, and the tire sidewall becomes thin enough that pothole and impact damage rise materially. We do not generally recommend 22 inch and up on this platform. The Odyssey is also square (non-staggered) on every generation. The same wheel and tire spec belongs on every corner. There is no rear-drive bias on the Odyssey (every Odyssey is front-wheel drive), so a wider rear wheel would not benefit the car.

Brake clearance on the Odyssey is straightforward across every generation. Honda specs the Odyssey with a standard caliper sized for the vehicle weight, and the aftermarket wheel window we measure clears the brake comfortably on the diameters in the published range. The front and rear brake are the same size on the Odyssey, so the same wheel works at every corner from a brake clearance perspective.
