The current 2nd gen SX2 (2024 and up) brought a more upright body, a larger interior, and a refreshed Kona Electric powertrain. The bolt pattern has stayed constant since the Kona launched at 5x114.3 with a 67.1mm hub bore and M12x1.5 lug thread, the same hub spec Hyundai uses across most of its modern lineup. The Hyundai Kona Bolt Pattern

Every Hyundai Kona built since the platform launched uses 5x114.3 with a 67.1mm hub bore and M12x1.5 lug nuts. That covers the 1st gen OS (2018-2023), the Kona N (2023), and the current 2nd gen SX2 (2024 and up). The 5x114.3 pattern is also written as 5x4.5 in imperial. 5x4.5 refers ONLY to 5x114.3 (114.3mm equals 4.5 inches). It does NOT refer to 5x115, which is a different bolt pattern used on Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger LX, and similar American sedans. The two patterns sit about 0.7mm apart and are not interchangeable. A 5x115 wheel will not bolt onto a Kona.

The 67.1mm hub bore is the Hyundai-Kia midsize and crossover standard, the same bore used on the Tucson, Santa Fe, Elantra (from 2007 onward), Sonata (from 2006 onward), and the modern Kia compact and crossover lineup. It is not the same as the Toyota family 60.1mm bore or the Honda 64.1mm bore. 5x114.3 wheels listed specifically for a Toyota or Honda will physically bolt to a Kona because the bolt math matches, but the smaller centerbore on those wheels will not hub-center on the Kona without a hub centric ring. Kona Trims, the Kona N, and the Kona Electric

The Kona lineup covers SE, SEL, N Line, Limited, and the Kona Electric across both generations, plus the Kona N as the performance variant on the 1st gen OS. Every Kona trim uses the same 5x114.3 bolt pattern, 67.1mm hub bore, and M12x1.5 thread. In our catalog the Kona N (2023) sits in its own row because it is the dedicated performance variant, but the wheel hub spec is identical to the rest of the Kona range and the aftermarket fitment window broadly matches the 1st gen OS. The Kona Electric (1st gen OS and 2nd gen SX2) shares the same bolt pattern, hub bore, and lug thread as the gasoline Kona. The Electric powertrain does not change wheel fitment. A wheel that fits a gasoline OS Kona fits an OS Kona Electric. A wheel that fits a 2nd gen SX2 gasoline Kona fits a 2nd gen Kona Electric.

Square (non-staggered) fitment is the factory and recommended configuration on every Kona, including the Kona N and the Kona Electric. The Kona is a front-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive crossover throughout its history, and the chassis is engineered around a square wheel and tire setup.
