The Hyundai Santa Cruz is a compact unibody pickup that joined the Hyundai US lineup for the 2022 model year. It is built on the refreshed 4th gen Hyundai Tucson NX4 chassis with a pickup bed grafted onto the back. The Santa Cruz uses 5x114.3 with a 67.1mm hub bore and M12x1.5 lug nuts, the same hub spec as the Tucson and most of the modern Hyundai-Kia midsize lineup. The Santa Cruz is currently in its first generation (2022 and up). There is one important fitment detail buyers must know upfront: the Santa Cruz ships with a tall front brake caliper that does NOT clear 17 inch aftermarket wheels. The Hyundai Santa Cruz Bolt Pattern

Every Hyundai Santa Cruz uses 5x114.3 with a 67.1mm hub bore and M12x1.5 lug nuts. The pattern is also written as 5x4.5 in imperial. 5x4.5 refers ONLY to 5x114.3 (114.3mm equals 4.5 inches). It does NOT refer to 5x115, which is a different bolt pattern used on Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger LX, and similar American sedans. The two patterns sit about 0.7mm apart and are not interchangeable. A 5x115 wheel will not bolt onto a Santa Cruz.

The 67.1mm hub bore is the Hyundai-Kia midsize and crossover standard. The same hub spec is used on the Tucson (which shares the Santa Cruz chassis), the Santa Fe, the Sonata from 2006 onward, the Elantra from 2007 onward, and the modern Kia compact and crossover lineup. It is not the same as the Toyota family 60.1mm bore or the Honda 64.1mm bore. 5x114.3 wheels listed specifically for a Toyota or Honda will physically bolt to a Santa Cruz because the bolt math matches, but the smaller centerbore on those wheels will not hub-center on the Santa Cruz without a hub centric ring. Santa Cruz and Tucson: Same Chassis, Different Brake Clearance

The Santa Cruz is built on the refreshed 4th gen Hyundai Tucson NX4 chassis. That makes the Tucson the platform sibling to the Santa Cruz inside the Hyundai lineup. The two cars share the front subframe, the suspension geometry, the bolt pattern, the hub bore, and the lug thread. What they do not share is the bed. The Santa Cruz takes the Tucson architecture and adds a 4-foot pickup bed in place of the Tucson's cargo area, which is the unibody pickup approach also used by the Ford Maverick on the Bronco Sport chassis.

The most important fitment difference between the Santa Cruz and the Tucson is the front brake caliper. The Santa Cruz ships with a taller front caliper than the standard Tucson trims, sized to handle the added vehicle mass and the towing load. The brake is taller (greater caliper height above the hub) but not necessarily larger in piston count. The clearance impact is direct: 17 inch wheels will NOT fit a Santa Cruz. There is not enough vertical clearance between the inside face of the wheel and the top of the front caliper at 17 inch diameter. 18 inch is the floor for any Santa Cruz aftermarket wheel, factory or aftermarket. Buyers cross-shopping a Tucson and a Santa Cruz on the same chassis often assume a wheel that fit their Tucson will fit the Santa Cruz too. The bolt math crosses. The brake clearance does not.

Square (non-staggered) fitment is the factory and recommended configuration on the Santa Cruz. The chassis is engineered around a square wheel and tire setup and our aftermarket window respects that. The Santa Cruz is available in front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive across the lineup. The drivetrain does not change wheel fitment on this platform. FWD and AWD share the same bolt pattern, hub, and fitment window.
