Infiniti QX55 Aftermarket Wheel Fitment

The Infiniti QX55 is the coupe-style derivative of the 2nd generation QX50, in production from 2022 forward. Underneath, the QX55 is the QX50 2nd gen: same transverse-engine front-drive-based platform, same drivetrain, same wheel interface. What changed is the body. Infiniti gave the QX55 a sloping roofline, a fastback rear end, and tighter fender styling, while keeping the QX50's chassis intact below the beltline. From a wheel fitment standpoint, the QX55 is the QX50 with different sheet metal. The 5x114.3 bolt pattern, the 66.1mm hub bore, and the M12x1.25 thread are identical. The fender openings sit slightly different and the QX55 carries a marginally wider aftermarket width window in our catalog (up to 9.5 inch versus the QX50's 9.0 inch). Element Wheels measures the QX55 on its own body and the fitment specs follow.

Find Your Infiniti QX55

The QX55 has run a single generation in the US from 2022 forward. Element Wheels measures one validation set for the full production run. Bolt pattern is 5x114.3 with a 66.1mm hub bore and M12x1.25 thread across every QX55 year and trim.

The QX55 Bolt Pattern and the QX50 Platform

Every QX55 runs 5x114.3, also called 5x4.5 imperial (114.3mm = 4.5 inches exactly), with a 66.1mm factory hub bore and M12x1.25 thread. 5 lug. The wheel interface is identical to the 2019 and up Infiniti QX50, which is the platform the QX55 derives from. A wheel built for one will bolt onto the other at the lug-hole level. That is the start, not the end, of the fitment conversation. The QX55's coupe styling changes the fender opening profile compared to the QX50, and our catalog tracks the QX55 as its own row with its own measured width window.

A cross-pattern caution that applies to every 5x114.3 platform: 5x114.3 is NOT the same as the 5x115 pattern used on Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger LX, and similar American sedans. The two patterns sit roughly 0.7mm apart and are not interchangeable, even though the difference sounds tiny. The imperial nickname 5x4.5 refers only to 5x114.3 (because 114.3mm = 4.5 inches exactly). Calling 5x115 "5x4.5" is wrong and forcing a 5x115 wheel onto a 5x114.3 hub puts the stud loading off-center, which is a safety issue. Stick to wheels listed for 5x114.3 specifically.

Compare across the rest of the Infiniti lineup at our Infiniti wheels and rims hub, including the QX50 hub that covers the QX55's underlying platform.

Why the QX55 Has Its Own Measured Window

The QX55 shares the 2nd gen QX50's chassis and drivetrain. What changed is the body styling and the fender opening profile. Infiniti gave the QX55 a sloping coupe-style roofline, a fastback rear end, and slightly different fender flare geometry. The result for wheel fitment: the QX55 sits inside the same chassis envelope as the QX50 2nd gen but with a marginally different fender profile that lets us run up to 9.5 inch width in the catalog versus 9.0 inch on the QX50. Diameter window is 20 to 22 inch across both. The car ships from the factory at 20 inch on most trims, so 22 inch is the natural visual step up. The body styling itself rewards the larger diameter because the coupe roofline visually pulls more wheel into the picture.

Stagger is not on the table for the QX55. The QX55 was offered as standard AWD across all US trims (no front drive version). A wider rear wheel on AWD introduces uneven rolling diameter that strains the AWD system, so square setups are the right call. The good news: the QX55's coupe styling does not benefit from a stagger anyway. The fender profile is symmetric front to rear and a square setup pulls the visual weight to all four corners equally.

Element Wheels Measured Aftermarket Fitment, Infiniti QX55

Publishable factory and wheel specs across the QX55:

  • QX55 All Years (2022 and up, QX50 2nd gen platform): 5x114.3 bolt pattern, 66.1mm hub bore, M12x1.25 thread, 5 lug. Element aftermarket diameter range: 20-22 inch. Aftermarket width: 8.5-9.5 inch square. Non-staggered.

For your exact aftermarket offset, three options:

  • 1. Use our Year/Make/Model search to see wheels that fit your specific QX55 (each listing shows its own offset).
  • 2. Browse the QX55 wheel gallery for real-life builds with size, offset, and tire spec captions.

How We Confirm Fitment on Infiniti QX55 Wheels

Element Wheels measures fitment on the platforms we sell wheels for, including the QX55. For the QX55 that means clearance from the wheel to the coupe-style fender styling, gap between the back of the wheel and the suspension components, brake caliper clearance against the QX55 base brake package, hub bore confirmation on the 66.1mm spec, lug stud thread on the M12x1.25 spec, and turning clearance at full lock. At our fitment facility in Chandler, Arizona, the Element Wheels team measures directly on the physical platforms we support. We don't pull specs from manufacturer sheets the way most retailers do. That measurement work is what produced the 20-22 inch diameter range and the 8.5-9.5 inch width window for the QX55 in our catalog, which is marginally wider on the high end than the QX50 row because of the QX55's coupe fender profile.

Infiniti QX55 Wheels and Rims FAQ

What is the bolt pattern on an Infiniti QX55?

Every QX55 (2022 and up) runs 5x114.3 (also called 5x4.5 imperial, because 114.3mm = 4.5 inches exactly) with a 66.1mm hub bore and M12x1.25 lug thread. Same wheel interface as the 2nd gen QX50 the QX55 derives from.

Is the QX55 the same car as the QX50?

Underneath, yes. The QX55 is built on the 2nd gen QX50 (2019 and up) platform: same transverse-engine front-drive-based chassis, same drivetrain, same suspension, same 5x114.3 / 66.1mm wheel interface. What Infiniti changed is the body styling. The QX55 has a sloping coupe-style roofline and a fastback rear end where the QX50 has a more conventional SUV silhouette. Same car underneath, different body above the beltline.

Will wheels that fit my QX50 also fit my QX55?

At the bolt pattern and hub bore level, yes. Same chassis, same lug interface. The QX55's coupe styling has a slightly different fender profile, so a wheel that sat perfectly flush on a QX50 may sit marginally different on the QX55. The catalog tracks the two as separate rows because the QX55 carries a slightly wider width window on the high end. Use the Year/Make/Model search and filter to the QX55 specifically.

Can I stagger my QX55?

No. The QX55 ships as standard AWD across all US trims. A wider rear wheel on AWD introduces uneven rolling diameter that strains the AWD system over time. The QX55's coupe styling also does not benefit from a stagger the way some rear-drive coupes do because the fender openings are symmetric front to rear. Square setups across all four corners are the right call.

What is the largest wheel I can fit on a QX55?

22 inch is the top of our measured aftermarket window on the QX55. The car ships from the factory at 20 inch on most trims, so 22 inch is the natural visual step up and pairs well with the coupe-style body. Width window is 8.5 to 9.5 inch square.

What sizes does the QX55 ship at from the factory?

The QX55 ships at 20 inch from the factory across the US trims (Luxe, Essential, Sensory). The 20 inch is what the body styling was designed around, so anything in our 20 to 22 inch aftermarket window will pair visually with the coupe styling. The 22 inch step up is the most common upgrade buyers make on this body.

Do I need hub centric rings on an Infiniti QX55?

Hub centric rings only when the aftermarket wheel has a centerbore larger than 66.1mm. The 66.1mm hub bore is consistent across every QX55 year and matches the rest of the Infiniti lineup. If your fitment needs rings, they'll be included with the order.

How do I find the right wheels for my specific QX55 build?

Use our Year/Make/Model search to filter to wheels we have measured specifically on the QX55 (the catalog tracks the QX55 as its own row, separate from the QX50). Browse the wheel gallery for real-life builds with size and offset captions. For 22 inch at the top of the width window or lowered setups, contact our team for a free fitment consultation before ordering. Every wheel we recommend is backed by the Fitment Guarantee.
