Every Jeep Patriot (2007-2017) uses a 5x114.3 bolt pattern with a 67.1mm hub bore, M12x1.5 lug nuts, and 5 lugs. Nut seat (not bolt seat). Square fitment, same width front and rear. Drivetrain (front wheel drive or four wheel drive) does not change the bolt math. Trim (Sport through Freedom Edition) does not change the bolt math. Model year does not change the bolt math. One specification across the whole Patriot run.

The 5x4.5 imperial nickname refers to 5x114.3 (114.3mm equals 4.5 inches). Same pattern, two naming conventions. The Patriot shares this 5x114.3 / 67.1mm hub family with its platform siblings: the first generation Jeep Compass (MK, 2007-2017) and the Dodge Caliber (2007-2012). All three were built on the Dodge MK platform and share the same bolt geometry. Important safety note: 5x114.3 is NOT the same as 5x115. The two patterns are separated by 0.7mm and the studs do not line up cleanly. A wheel built for a 5x115 Dodge Charger or Challenger will not bolt safely to a Patriot. Trim Differences Across the Jeep Patriot

The Patriot trim ladder is straightforward. Sport is the entry trim, factory 16 or 17 inch wheel depending on year. Latitude is the mid trim, 17 inch factory standard. Latitude X and Limited move up to 17 to 18 inch factory wheels with the upgraded interior package. Freedom Edition and 75th Anniversary are special editions layered over Latitude with their own factory wheel finishes. Every Patriot trim uses the same 5x114.3 / 67.1mm hub. The difference between trims is wheel size, finish, and tire spec, not bolt geometry.

The Patriot accepts a wide aftermarket diameter window. Our measured range runs 16 to 22 inch diameter, with widths from 7 to 9.5 inch. 18 inch is the most common aftermarket Patriot choice. It is the natural step up from the factory 17 inch on most trims and keeps tire selection wide. 20 inch builds exist on the Patriot for a more aggressive visual, with 22 inch at the top of the measured aftermarket box.
