Jeep Renegade Aftermarket Wheel Fitment

The Jeep Renegade BU is Chrysler's subcompact crossover, built on the Fiat derived Small Wide 4x4 platform and produced from 2015 forward out of the Melfi assembly plant in Italy. One generation, one chassis, and one wheel fitment box across every Renegade year and every trim. 5x110 bolt pattern, 65.1mm hub bore, M12x1.25 lug bolts, and 5 lugs. The Renegade uses lug bolts (not lug nuts), inherited from the Fiat Small Wide platform. Wheel installation requires holding the wheel in place while threading the bolt rather than securing it with a nut on a stud. Square fitment (same width front and rear). Drivetrain (front wheel drive or four wheel drive) does not change the bolt math. Trim (Sport, Latitude, Limited, Altitude, Trailhawk, Upland, Jeepster) does not change the bolt math. The Trailhawk gets a different tire and a taller suspension package, but the wheel fitment box is the same as every other Renegade.

The Jeep Renegade Bolt Pattern

Every Jeep Renegade uses 5x110 with a 65.1mm hub bore and M12x1.25 lug bolts. The 5x110 pattern is the Fiat derived Small Wide 4x4 platform spec, used across a family of Fiat Chrysler vehicles built on the same chassis. Within Jeep, the Renegade shares this 5x110 / 65.1mm hub family with the Jeep Compass MP (2017 and up) and the Jeep Cherokee KL (2014-2023). Outside Jeep, the Fiat 500X is the Renegade's direct chassis sibling out of the same Melfi plant in Italy. Bolt math crosses cleanly between Renegade and 500X. Body styling, suspension tuning, and trim hardware are different, so offset and width still need to be confirmed against the destination chassis.

Important safety note: 5x110 is not the same pattern as 5x114.3, and it is not the same pattern as 5x100. The three patterns sit close enough on the bolt circle that wheels designed for one will not safely transfer to the other. A wheel built for an older Compass MK (5x114.3) or a Patriot (5x114.3) will not bolt safely to a Renegade. A wheel built for a 5x100 Toyota or Subaru will not bolt safely to a Renegade either. The Renegade Trailhawk and the Rest of the Renegade Trims

The Renegade BU is sold across Sport, Latitude, Limited, Altitude, Trailhawk, Upland, and Jeepster trims. Stock wheels are 16 inch on Sport, 17 inch on Latitude and Limited, 18 inch on Altitude and Jeepster, and 17 inch all terrain on the Trailhawk off road package. The Trailhawk is the off road trim with the Active Drive Low transfer case, additional skid plates, and a different approach and departure angle. It still runs the same 5x110 / 65.1mm bolt pattern and hub bore as every other Renegade trim. The aftermarket fitment box on the Trailhawk is the same as the rest of the lineup, although Trailhawk owners more often choose a 17 inch wheel with a taller all terrain tire to keep the off road geometry the truck came with.

Across the lineup the Element Wheels aftermarket diameter window on the Renegade runs 16 to 22 inch with widths from 7 to 9.5 inch front and rear, square fitment. Most Renegade street builds land at 18 to 20 inch. Renegade owners targeting a wider stance choose the deeper offsets and the lower 18 to 19 inch wheels. Renegade owners staying close to factory off road behavior stay at 17 inch.

How We Confirm Fitment on Jeep Renegade Wheels

Element Wheels measures fitment on the Renegade directly, across front wheel drive and four wheel drive configurations and across street and Trailhawk trims. That means hub bore confirmation at 65.1mm, clearance from the wheel to the fender at ride height and at full droop, gap behind the wheel to the suspension at full lock, brake caliper height across the standard brake package, and lug bolt thread confirmation at M12x1.25. At our fitment facility in Chandler, Arizona, the Element Wheels team measures directly on the physical platforms we support. The Renegade shares its bolt pattern and hub bore with the Compass MP and the Cherokee KL, so we cross check against the Compass MP measurements when a candidate wheel is shared across those platforms. We don't pull these from manufacturer spec sheets the way most retailers do.
