The Range Rover Evoque is the compact luxury crossover in the Range Rover lineup. It is sold across two generations on this hub. The first-generation L538 ran from 2012 through 2019 in both 2-door coupe and 4-door body styles. The second-generation L551 launched as a 4-door for the 2020 model year and is still in production, with a 2019 gap year between generations in the US market. The L551 Evoque sits on the JLR D8 chassis, also called the Premium Transverse Architecture, the same platform that underpins the Land Rover Discovery Sport. That same-chassis link matters for parts cross-shop. Both generations of the Evoque run 5x108 with a 63.4mm hub bore, and the pattern is unchanged across the whole production run.

The Evoque is a smaller, transverse-engine Range Rover, not a downsized version of the full-size Range Rover. The full-size Range Rover and the Range Rover Sport run 5x120 with a 72.56mm hub bore on a different chassis family. The Range Rover Velar runs the same 5x108 / 63.4mm bolt pattern as the Evoque but on the larger JLR D7a chassis with its own offset window. Wheels do not interchange between the Evoque and the full-size Range Rover or the Sport, and the Velar runs a separate offset window from the Evoque even with the matching bolt pattern.

The Range Rover Evoque Bolt Pattern

Every Range Rover Evoque, L538 and L551, uses 5x108 with a 63.4mm hub bore and M14x1.5 lug nuts on studs. The pattern is unchanged across the Pure, Prestige, Dynamic, SE, R-Dynamic SE, HSE, R-Dynamic HSE, and First Edition trims. The Evoque runs nuts threaded onto studs pressed into the hub, the conventional aftermarket wheel attachment, which is a different setup from the larger Jaguar Land Rover platforms (L462 Discovery, full-size Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, L663 Defender) that use bolts threaded directly into the hub.

The L551 Evoque shares its 5x108 / 63.4mm CB geometry and its JLR D8 / Premium Transverse Architecture with the Land Rover Discovery Sport. A factory wheel from a same-year Discovery Sport will physically bolt to an L551 Evoque hub. Offset, brake clearance, and tire sizing still need to match the Evoque, so we measure the Evoque as its own catalog row even though it shares the bolt circle and the chassis with the Discovery Sport. The Evoque does not share wheels with the full-size L462 Discovery, the full-size Range Rover, the Range Rover Sport, or the L663 Defender. Those are 5x120 platforms with a 72.56mm hub bore on a different chassis family. The Range Rover Velar runs the same 5x108 / 63.4mm bolt pattern as the Evoque but on a different chassis with a wider offset window, and we track it separately. Range Rover Evoque Generations and Wheel Specs

The L538 Evoque was sold from 2012 through 2019 in Pure, Prestige, and Dynamic trims, in both 2-door coupe and 4-door body styles, plus the limited Convertible. The L551 Evoque launched for the 2020 model year as a 4-door only, in SE, R-Dynamic SE, HSE, R-Dynamic HSE, and First Edition trims. There is a 2019 gap year in the US market between the end of L538 production and the start of L551 sales. Both generations run the same 5x108 / 63.4mm hub bore and fall within the same aftermarket diameter and width window in our catalog. Brake packages do not split aftermarket fitment in a meaningful way on the Evoque the way they do on the Range Rover Sport SVR or the Defender V8. We track the L538 and the L551 as separate rows because they sit on different chassis, even though the bolt pattern and the aftermarket fitment window match.

The front brakes are larger than the rear on the Evoque. That is the factory configuration and the norm on a compact luxury SUV. The front axle does the majority of the stopping work and the front rotor and caliper are scaled to match. The size delta means the front wheel needs more clearance behind the face than the rear, which is one reason we measure both axles on every Evoque fitment we publish.
