The Range Rover Velar Bolt Pattern

Every Range Rover Velar from 2018 forward uses 5x108 with a 63.4mm hub bore and M14x1.5 lug bolts. The pattern is unchanged across the Standard, R-Dynamic, HSE, SE, First Edition, and SVAutobiography trims. The Velar runs five lug bolts threaded directly into the hub, not studs and nuts, which is the typical Jaguar Land Rover wheel attachment.

The Velar sits on the JLR D7a aluminum architecture. That is the same chassis used by the Jaguar F-Pace. If you have factory or aftermarket wheels from a similar-year F-Pace, the bolt pattern and hub bore match the Velar, and the wheels will bolt to the hub. Offset, brake clearance, and concavity still need to match Velar geometry, so we measure Velar fitment as its own catalog. The Velar does not share wheels with the full-size Range Rover or the Range Rover Sport, both of which run 5x120 / 72.56mm CB. The Range Rover Evoque also runs 5x108 but on a different chassis with different offset windows. Velar Trims and Brake Packages

The Velar is sold in Standard and R-Dynamic body trims with HSE and SE equipment levels stacked on top, plus the limited 2020 SVAutobiography Dynamic Edition. The standard Velar across Standard, R-Dynamic, HSE, and SE trims runs the same brake package and the same aftermarket fitment window. The SVAutobiography is the outlier. It carries a supercharged V8, larger brakes, and a more aggressive factory offset window than the rest of the lineup. A wheel that clears the standard Velar caliper can run into the SVAutobiography caliper on the front axle. We measure both as separate rows.

The front brakes are larger than the rear on every Velar. That is the factory configuration and the norm on a luxury performance SUV. The front axle does the majority of the stopping work, and the front rotor and caliper are scaled to match. The size delta means the front wheel needs more clearance behind the face than the rear, which is one reason we measure both axles on every Velar fitment we publish.
