Lincoln LS Aftermarket Wheel Fitment
The Lincoln LS is Lincoln's rear wheel drive midsize sport sedan, in production from the 2000 through the 2006 model year on the DEW98 platform (the same chassis architecture as the 2000-2008 Jaguar S-Type, with the Ford Thunderbird Mk 11 convertible as the third platform-mate). The LS shipped in V6 and V8 forms with manual or automatic transmissions in the early years and as an automatic-only V8 toward the end of the run. Across the full production our catalog locks the LS on a 5x108 bolt pattern (also called 5x4.25 inch, because 108mm equals 4.25 inch) with a 63.36mm hub bore on every trim. Lug count is five and the thread pitch is M12x1.5 lug nuts. Every LS in our catalog runs square fitment (same width and offset front and rear). Compare across the rest of the Lincoln lineup at our Lincoln wheels and rims hub.
Find Your Lincoln LS
Pick your year range to see wheels and rims that fit your specific LS. Bolt pattern (5x108), hub bore (63.36mm), and lug hardware (M12x1.5 lug nuts) are constant across the full 2000-2006 LS production run. The aftermarket diameter window runs 16 to 20 inch and the aftermarket width window runs 6.5 to 8.5 inch front and rear (square fitment) on every LS trim.
The Lincoln LS Bolt Pattern
Every Lincoln LS we measure uses a 5x108 bolt pattern (also called 5x4.25 inch, because 108mm equals 4.25 inch) with a 63.36mm hub bore. That covers the entire production run from 2000 through 2006 across both the V6 and V8 trims. Lug count is five and the thread pitch is M12x1.5 lug nuts. 5x108 is the Ford and Lincoln spec used on a handful of cars and crossovers from this era and forward. It is NOT the same as 5x114.3 (the standard 5x4.5 inch pattern used on the Ford Mustang of the same era and on most of the rest of the modern Ford and Lincoln midsize lineup). Wheels listed for a 5x114.3 vehicle will not fit a 5x108 Lincoln LS even though both are five lug.
The LS was built on the DEW98 platform, the same chassis architecture as the 2000-2008 Jaguar S-Type and the 2002-2005 Ford Thunderbird Mk 11 convertible. The Lincoln and the Jaguar share the wheel spec on this chassis. Both run 5x108 with a 63.36mm hub bore and M12x1.5 lug nuts in our catalog, so the bolt math matches between an LS and an S-Type of the same era. What is different car by car is the offset window and the brake clearance window, which we measure separately on each platform. A wheel built for the Jaguar S-Type at 5x108 has the right pattern to mount on an LS, but we recommend confirming the offset before swapping wheels between the two cars.
How the LS Trim Lineup Affects Wheel Choice
Every LS in our catalog runs square fitment. Same width front and rear, same offset front and rear. There is no factory-supported staggered configuration on the LS. The car is rear wheel drive from the factory across the entire run, including the V6 trims that shipped early in the production and the V8 trims that carried through to 2006. The DEW98 platform was engineered around a square wheel and tire package and the aftermarket also stays square.
The LS shipped from the factory on 16, 17, and 18 inch wheels depending on trim and model year. The V8 Sport variants got the larger factory diameters. Our measured Element aftermarket diameter window runs 16 to 20 inch on every LS and the aftermarket width window runs 6.5 to 8.5 inch front and rear. The LS audience today is restoration and OEM upgrade oriented, with most builds staying in the 17 to 19 inch range to keep tire selection wide and ride quality intact on a 20 year old executive sedan. The aftermarket buyer chasing a more aggressive face style usually goes 18 or 19 inch with a deeper concave wheel design.

Every wheel we recommend is backed by our Fitment Guarantee. If a wheel does not fit, we pick up the wheels and refund 100 percent. No risk to you.
How We Confirm Fitment on Lincoln LS Wheels
Element Wheels measures fitment on the LS directly. For the LS that means clearance from the wheel to the fender on both axles, gap between the back of the wheel and the suspension, brake caliper height, hub bore confirmation to the 63.36mm Lincoln hub, and lug nut seat depth on the aftermarket wheel against the M12x1.5 LS hardware. We also confirm the square front-to-rear offset and width relationship that holds across every LS row in our catalog. At our fitment facility in Chandler, Arizona, the Element Wheels team measures directly on the physical platforms we support. We don't pull specs from manufacturer sheets the way most retailers do.
Lincoln LS Wheels and Rims FAQ
What is the bolt pattern on a Lincoln LS?
Every Lincoln LS from 2000 through 2006 uses 5x108 (also called 5x4.25 inch, because 108mm equals 4.25 inch) with a 63.36mm hub bore. Lug count is five and thread pitch is M12x1.5 lug nuts. That covers both the V6 and V8 trims across the full production run.
Will Jaguar S-Type wheels fit a Lincoln LS?
The bolt math matches. The Lincoln LS and the Jaguar S-Type were built on the same DEW98 platform and both run 5x108 with a 63.36mm hub bore and M12x1.5 lug nuts in our catalog. A wheel built for an S-Type has the right pattern to mount on an LS. What can be different car by car is the brake clearance window and the offset window. We measure each platform separately and recommend confirming offset before swapping wheels between the two cars. If you are coming off an S-Type R with the bigger Brembo front, the front clearance window on the LS is set up differently because the LS does not run the Brembo front caliper.
Is the Lincoln LS bolt pattern the same as 5x114.3?
No. The Lincoln LS uses 5x108, which is 5x4.25 inch in imperial form because 108mm equals 4.25 inch. 5x114.3 is 5x4.5 inch because 114.3mm equals 4.5 inch. Those are two different patterns and wheels do not cross between them. The 5x114.3 pattern is used on many other Ford and Lincoln models including the Mustang and the Lincoln Aviator. The 5x108 LS pattern is shared with the Jaguar S-Type and with several modern Lincolns including the MKZ from 2013 forward, the MKC, the Continental, and the Corsair.
Are LS wheels staggered?
No. Every LS in our catalog runs square fitment. Same width front and rear, same offset front and rear. The LS is rear wheel drive across the entire 2000-2006 run, but Lincoln engineered the platform around a square wheel and tire package and the aftermarket also stays square. Our measured aftermarket width window is 6.5 to 8.5 inch front and rear on every LS.
What is the hub bore on a Lincoln LS?
Every Lincoln LS uses a 63.36mm hub bore. That is the DEW98 platform hub spec, also used on the Jaguar S-Type. Hub centric rings only when the aftermarket wheel has a centerbore larger than 63.36mm. If your fitment needs rings, they'll be included with the order.
Lug bolts or lug nuts on the LS?
Lug nuts on the LS, M12x1.5 thread pitch with a conical seat. The wheel locates on the studs before the nuts go on. Aftermarket conical-seat lug nuts compatible with M12x1.5 thread pitch work on the LS.
What size wheels come on a Lincoln LS from the factory?
Factory wheels on the LS range from 16 inch on the entry trims up through 17 and 18 inch on the higher specs and the V8 Sport variants. Element aftermarket diameter is 16 to 20 inch and the aftermarket width window is 6.5 to 8.5 inch front and rear. See the measured fitment box above.
What is the largest wheel I can fit on a Lincoln LS?
Our measured Element aftermarket window tops at 20 inch on the LS. Most LS aftermarket builds stay at 18 or 19 inch because tire selection narrows quickly above that on a 6.5 to 8.5 inch width window, and the LS rides better with a taller sidewall. 20 inch is the upper end for buyers chasing the most aggressive face style. If you are pushing toward the 20 inch top of the window, contact our team for a free fitment consultation before ordering.
