Lincoln MKZ Aftermarket Wheel Fitment
The Lincoln MKZ is the midsize luxury sedan Lincoln built from 2007 through 2020 as the luxury counterpart to the Ford Fusion. Element Wheels tracks MKZ fitment across three generations. The 1st gen (2007-2012) ran a 5x114.3 bolt pattern with a 67.1mm hub bore on the Ford Fusion CD3 platform. The 2nd gen (2013-2016) and 3rd gen (2017-2020) moved to a 5x108 bolt pattern with a 63.4mm hub bore on the Ford Fusion CD4 platform. The wheels do not bolt across the 2013 transition. The platform shift also brought a different stance, different brake architecture, and a different aftermarket window. Find your year range below and the wheel and rim recommendations follow.
Find Your Lincoln MKZ Generation
Pick your year range to see wheels and rims that fit your specific MKZ. The bolt pattern transitions at 2013 from 5x114.3 to 5x108. The hub bore transitions at the same point from 67.1mm to 63.4mm. The lug thread transitions a second time at 2017 from M12x1.5 to M14x1.5.
The Lincoln MKZ Bolt Pattern
The 1st gen MKZ (2007-2012) runs 5x114.3 with a 67.1mm hub bore. The 5x114.3 spec is also called 5x4.5 in imperial form because 114.3mm equals 4.5 inches. Both notations describe the same pattern. Lincoln redesigned the MKZ for 2013 on the second generation Ford Fusion platform and moved to 5x108 with a 63.4mm hub bore. The 5x108 pattern is a Ford-specific metric pattern and does NOT cross with 5x114.3 or with any other 5 lug pattern in that size range. The MKZ stayed on 5x108 / 63.4mm CB from 2013 through the final 2020 model year.
The MKZ shares its bolt pattern, hub bore, and platform exactly with the Ford Fusion of the same generation. 1st gen MKZ wheels cross-shop with the 2006-2012 Ford Fusion (also 5x114.3 / 67.1mm). 2nd and 3rd gen MKZ wheels cross-shop with the 2013-2020 Ford Fusion (also 5x108 / 63.4mm). Brake clearance and trim-specific factory wheel sizes are the deciding variables when cross-shopping. Compare across the rest of the Lincoln lineup at our Lincoln wheels and rims hub.
What Changed Across Lincoln MKZ Generations
Three MKZ generations show up in our catalog with three major spec changes across them. The bolt pattern changed once (in 2013, from 5x114.3 to 5x108). The hub bore changed at the same point (from 67.1mm to 63.4mm). The lug thread changed a second time at 2017 (from M12x1.5 to M14x1.5). The 1st gen MKZ ran factory 17 and 18 inch wheels from the dealer. The 2013 redesign moved factory sizes up to 18 and 19 inch and the 2017 facelift kept that range with available 19 inch wheels on Reserve trim.
The aftermarket pattern on the MKZ is mostly a looks build. Customers shopping for an MKZ are typically looking for a more aggressive face style, a different finish than the factory machined silver, or a one inch step up from the dealer wheel. The car is front wheel drive (or all wheel drive on AWD trims) and the suspension is tuned for ride quality on the luxury side of the Fusion lineup, so the aftermarket pattern stays close to factory diameter with the visual upgrade coming from spoke design and face concavity rather than oversized fitment.
Hybrid variant note. The MKZ Hybrid was available from 2011 through 2020. Hybrid trims carry slightly different brake regen architecture but the same bolt pattern, hub bore, and offset window as the gas MKZ of the same year. Black Label variant note. The MKZ Black Label appeared in 2014 as a top trim package across the 2013-2020 generations. Black Label cars carry the same fitment specs as other 2013-2020 MKZ trims (5x108 / 63.4mm CB). The Black Label distinction is interior trim and badging, not chassis or fitment.
How We Confirm Fitment on Lincoln MKZ Wheels
Element Wheels measures fitment on the platforms we sell wheels for, including every MKZ generation from 2007 through 2020. For the MKZ that means clearance from the wheel to the fender, gap between the back of the wheel and the suspension, brake caliper height, hub protrusion, and lug seat depth, all measured directly on the car. At our fitment facility in Chandler, Arizona, the Element Wheels team measures directly on the physical platforms we support. We do not pull specs from manufacturer sheets the way most retailers do.

Lincoln MKZ Wheels and Rims FAQ
What is the bolt pattern on a Lincoln MKZ?
It depends on the year. The 2007-2012 MKZ runs 5x114.3 with a 67.1mm hub bore. The 2013-2020 MKZ runs 5x108 with a 63.4mm hub bore. The bolt pattern changed when Lincoln redesigned the car on the second generation Ford Fusion platform in 2013, and the wheels do not bolt across that transition.
Will my older MKZ wheels fit a newer MKZ?
Not across the 2013 redesign. The 2007-2012 MKZ runs 5x114.3 with a 67.1mm hub bore. The 2013 and newer MKZ runs 5x108 with a 63.4mm hub bore. The two are different bolt patterns. The wheels do not bolt across. From 2013 forward, MKZ wheels cross between the 2013-2016 and 2017-2020 generations because both run the same 5x108 / 63.4mm spec, with the lug thread change at 2017 handled by torquing to the year-correct spec.
Will Ford Fusion wheels fit my Lincoln MKZ?
Yes, within the same era. The MKZ is the luxury Lincoln-badged version of the Ford Fusion on the same midsize sedan platform. The 1st gen MKZ and 2006-2012 Fusion both run 5x114.3 with a 67.1mm hub bore on the CD3 platform. The 2013 and newer MKZ and the 2013-2020 Fusion both run 5x108 with a 63.4mm hub bore on the CD4 platform. Wheels are cross-shoppable across the two within the same era. Brake clearance and trim-specific factory wheel sizes are the deciding variables.
Is the Lincoln MKZ 5x108 pattern the same as 5x114.3?
No. 5x108 and 5x114.3 are two different bolt patterns and the wheels do not interchange. The 5x108 spec uses a 108mm circle through the center of all five lug studs. The 5x114.3 spec uses a 114.3mm circle. The 6mm difference is enough that the studs do not line up and the wheel cannot be mounted safely. If you have a 2013-2020 MKZ (5x108) do not buy wheels listed as 5x114.3 or 5x4.5 even though the lug count matches.
What is the largest wheel I can fit on a Lincoln MKZ?
Our measured Element aftermarket window tops at 20 inch on every MKZ generation. The 1st gen tops at 20 inch with the right offset. The 2nd and 3rd gen also top at 20 inch. 18 and 19 inch are the most common aftermarket sizes on the modern MKZ because they balance the look with ride quality on a midsize luxury sedan. Above 20 inch typically calls for body work or sacrifices ride and tire selection.
Are Lincoln MKZ wheels staggered?
No. The MKZ runs a square (non-staggered) fitment from the factory across every generation. The car is front wheel drive on base trims and all wheel drive on AWD trims, and neither layout benefits from a wider rear wheel. Almost every aftermarket build also runs square.
Do I need hub centric rings on a Lincoln MKZ?
Hub centric rings only when the aftermarket wheel has a centerbore larger than your MKZ hub. The 2007-2012 MKZ uses a 67.1mm hub. The 2013-2020 MKZ uses a 63.4mm hub. If your fitment needs rings, they'll be included with the order.
How do I find the right wheels for my specific Lincoln MKZ build?
Three steps. Confirm your generation by year (2007-2012 is 5x114.3, 2013-2020 is 5x108). Use our Year/Make/Model search to see wheels that fit your specific MKZ (each listing shows its own offset) and browse the wheel gallery for real-life builds. If you are picking a wheel near the edge of our measured window or you have a Black Label or Hybrid trim and want to confirm fitment, contact our team for a free fitment consultation before ordering. Every wheel we recommend is backed by the Fitment Guarantee.
