Maserati Levante Aftermarket Wheel Fitment
The Maserati Levante (M161, 2017-2024) is Maserati's full-size luxury SUV and the trident's first SUV in the lineup. On the aftermarket side the Levante splits by brake package. A standard brake car and a 6-piston upgrade brake car (which includes the V8 Trofeo trim) where the front caliper sits deeper behind the wheel face. Every Levante we have measured uses 5x114.3 (also called 5x4.5) with a 67.1mm hub bore, the same bolt pattern and centerbore that runs across the modern Maserati sedan lineup (Quattroporte M156, Ghibli M157, GranTurismo). The factory wheel hardware is M14x1.5 lug bolts, the standard Italian and European convention. Pick your brake variant below and the fitment specs follow. The compact Grecale SUV is at /wheels/maserati/grecale.
Find Your Maserati Levante Variant
Pick your brake package to see wheels and rims that fit your specific Levante. Bolt pattern (5x114.3), centerbore (67.1mm), and the lug-bolt hardware are constant across both variants. What changes is the front caliper depth, and that drives the front offset window. The 6-piston package is also the brake setup on the V8 Trofeo trim.
The Maserati Levante Bolt Pattern
Every Maserati Levante we have measured uses 5x114.3 (also called 5x4.5, because 114.3mm equals 4.5 inches). That covers both the standard brake variant and the 6-piston upgrade brake variant across the 2017-2024 M161 production run. Hub bore is 67.1mm. These specs match the rest of the modern Maserati sedan lineup (Quattroporte M156, Ghibli M157, GranTurismo). The Levante is the full-size SUV in that lineage, with the M161 carrying the Maserati F154 V6 and V8 powertrains.
Important spec callout: 5x114.3 is NOT the same as 5x115. The two patterns look close on paper (a 0.7mm difference in bolt circle) but they do not interchange. A 5x115 wheel will not safely fit on a 5x114.3 hub even though the math is close. Stud stress and seat alignment go wrong fast on a mismatched pattern, which is why we publish the exact pattern rather than calling them close enough. Confirm the wheel you are looking at is specifically rated for 5x114.3 before ordering. Compare across the rest of the Maserati lineup at our Maserati wheels and rims hub.
Why the Brake Package and the SUV Stance Matter
The Levante splits at the brake package. The standard brake car runs a more permissive front offset window because the caliper sits inside a wider clearance envelope. The 6-piston upgrade brake variant (which includes the V8 Trofeo trim) needs a more aggressive front-side offset to clear the larger caliper, and the aftermarket fitment window tightens accordingly. Rear axle offset window and width window stay similar across both variants. Front brake is larger than rear on both variants, which is normal on a performance SUV in this class. If you are not sure which brake package your Levante has, our team can confirm from the VIN or a photo of the caliper.
Stagger on the Levante is optional (catalog FT=3). The Levante is an SUV with a taller fender geometry than the Quattroporte or Ghibli sedans, and plenty of Levante builds run a true square fitment for cleaner all-season tire selection. A modest stagger (typically a half inch to one inch wider rear) also works inside our measured window and looks aggressive on the higher-trim Modena and Trofeo cars. Pick the look you want. The 6-piston Trofeo carries the 3.8L V8 Ferrari-built engine and adds a more aggressive front brake package; the front offset window tightens on Trofeo.
Element Wheels Measured Aftermarket Fitment, Maserati Levante
Publishable factory and wheel specs across the Levante brake variants:
- Levante M161, Standard brakes (2017-2024): 5x114.3 bolt pattern, 67.1mm hub bore. Element aftermarket diameter: 20-22 inch. Aftermarket width: 8.5-9 inch front, 9.5-10.5 inch rear. Optional stagger. Front brake larger than rear. Factory hardware: M14x1.5 lug bolts.
- Levante M161, 6-piston brakes / Trofeo (2017-2024): 5x114.3 bolt pattern, 67.1mm hub bore. Element aftermarket diameter: 20-22 inch. Aftermarket width: 8.5-9 inch front, 9.5-10.5 inch rear. Optional stagger. Front brake larger than rear. Tighter front offset window for the 6-piston caliper. Factory hardware: M14x1.5 lug bolts.
For your exact aftermarket offset, three options:

How We Confirm Fitment on Maserati Levante Wheels
Element Wheels measures fitment on the Levante directly, on both the standard and 6-piston brake variants of the M161. For the Levante that means clearance from the wheel to the fender on both axles (with the taller SUV fender geometry accounted for), gap between the back of the wheel and the suspension, brake caliper height (standard and 6-piston are measured separately because the front caliper depth changes between them), hub bore confirmation to the 67.1mm Maserati hub, lug bolt seat depth, and turning clearance with the wheel and tire installed at full lock. At our fitment facility in Chandler, Arizona, the Element Wheels team measures directly on the physical platforms we support. We don't pull specs from manufacturer sheets the way most retailers do. The Levante carries lug bolts rather than lug nuts on studs, which is a real fitment-side consideration: bolt seat depth and bolt thread length need to be confirmed for each aftermarket wheel.
Maserati Levante Wheels and Rims FAQ
What is the bolt pattern on a Maserati Levante?
Every Maserati Levante we have measured uses 5x114.3 (also called 5x4.5) with a 67.1mm hub bore. That covers the M161 (2017-2024) on both the standard brake variant and the 6-piston upgrade brake variant. 5x114.3 is NOT the same as 5x115. A 5x115 wheel will not safely fit on a 5x114.3 hub, so confirm the wheel is specifically rated for 5x114.3 before ordering.
Standard vs 6-piston brakes on the Levante: what changes for wheels?
Bolt pattern and centerbore are identical (5x114.3, 67.1mm). What differs is the front caliper depth behind the wheel face. The 6-piston brake variant has a deeper caliper that needs a more aggressive front-side offset to clear, so the aftermarket front offset window tightens compared to the standard brake car. Width and diameter ranges stay similar (20-22 inch diameter, 8.5-9 inch front, 9.5-10.5 inch rear). The 6-piston brake setup is also what the V8 Trofeo trim carries. If you are not sure which brake variant you have, our team can confirm from the VIN or a photo of the caliper.
Lug bolts or lug nuts on the Levante?
Lug bolts. The factory hardware on the Levante M161 is M14x1.5 lug bolts that thread directly into the hub rather than nuts on permanent studs. That is the standard Italian and European convention on this class of car. Bolt seat depth and thread length need to be confirmed for each aftermarket wheel because the bolt has to clear the seat depth on the wheel and reach the correct thread engagement in the hub. We measure this on every wheel we recommend for the Levante.
What about the Levante Trofeo V8?
The Trofeo is the V8 high-performance trim of the Levante (3.8L Ferrari-built V8). Bolt pattern and hub bore match the rest of the M161 lineup (5x114.3 / 67.1mm). The Trofeo carries the 6-piston brake package, so the front offset window follows the 6-piston rule (tighter than the standard brake car). Our diameter and width ranges hold (20-22 inch diameter, 8.5-9 inch front, 9.5-10.5 inch rear). For Trofeo specifically, contact our team for a free fitment consultation before ordering.
Do Levante wheels need to be staggered?
Optional. Stagger is not required on the Levante. Plenty of Levante builds run a true square fitment (same width front and rear) for cleaner all-season tire selection and easier rotation. A modest stagger (about a half inch wider rear) also looks good on the higher-trim cars. Both work inside our measured window: 8.5-9 inch front, 9.5-10.5 inch rear.
What is the largest wheel I can fit on a Maserati Levante?
Our measured Element aftermarket window tops at 22 inch diameter on the Levante. 21 inch and 22 inch are the most common aftermarket choices because they fill the SUV fender well. 22 inch fits with the right offset and tire size, with the rear width topping out at 10.5 inch in our measured window.
Do I need hub centric rings on a Maserati Levante?
Hub centric rings only when the aftermarket wheel has a centerbore larger than 67.1mm. If your fitment needs rings, they'll be included with the order.
How do I find wheels for my specific Maserati Levante?
Confirm your brake package first (standard or 6-piston upgrade / Trofeo). Use our Year/Make/Model search to see wheels that fit your specific Levante (each listing shows its own offset) and browse the wheel gallery for real-life builds with size and offset captions. If you have a 6-piston or Trofeo, contact our team for a free fitment consultation before ordering. Every wheel we recommend is backed by the Fitment Guarantee.
