The Mazda CX-50 runs a 5x114.3 bolt pattern with a 67.1mm hub bore. The imperial nickname for this pattern is 5x4.5 because 114.3mm equals 4.5 inches exactly. The lug count is 5, the thread pitch is M12x1.5. This is the same hub spec used across the modern Mazda lineup including the Mazda3, the CX-30, and the CX-5, so wheels in this fitment family are widely available aftermarket.

One detail to flag because it catches some buyers. 5x114.3 is NOT the same as the 5x115 pattern used on some American sedans. The two sit roughly 0.7mm apart on the hub circle and a wheel built for one will not properly seat on the other. The 5x4.5 imperial nickname refers to 5x114.3 only. Diameter and Width Window for the CX-50

Our measured aftermarket diameter window opens at 17 inch and tops at 22 inch. The width window runs from 7 to 9 inch square front and rear. The 17 inch floor is set by the brake caliper, which we measure at 17 inch on the CX-50. That gives the CX-50 a little more headroom on the width side than its smaller CX-30 sibling (which tops at 8 inch) and is consistent with the CX-50's wider track and outdoor-oriented styling. The 9 inch top of the width window is where the rugged-truck look comes in for buyers running an all-terrain tire and a 17 or 18 inch wheel.

The CX-50 is a square (non-staggered) crossover across all trims, including the CX-50 Turbo. Same wheel spec front and rear on every variant. Two common aftermarket directions on the CX-50: 17 or 18 inch with a chunkier all-terrain tire for the outdoor look, or 19 to 20 inch for a more upscale street look while keeping daily-driver ride quality.
