The platform overlap with the 2nd generation Ford Probe is real and worth knowing. The two cars are built on the same Mazda GE chassis, with the same suspension geometry, the same bolt pattern (5x114.3), and the same 67.1mm hub bore. Wheels that fit a 1993-1997 Ford Probe at the lug math level will also bolt onto a 1993-1997 GE MX-6. The body styling is different and the fender well geometry between the two cars has minor variations, but the hub spec and the offset window land in the same family.
