Mercedes-Benz C-Class Aftermarket Wheel Fitment

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class is the compact executive sedan, coupe, and convertible from Mercedes-Benz and one of the deepest fitment platforms in our catalog. Element Wheels measures the C-Class across four modern generations: W203 (2001-2007), W204 (2008-2014), W205 (2015-2021), and W206 (2022 and up). Bolt pattern stays 5x112 with a 66.56mm hub bore on every generation. Where fitment changes is at the brake package, the AMG trim, and the body style. C 300, C 400, C 43, C 55, C 63, and C 63 S all carry their own measured offset window, and the C 63 and C 63 S ship must-staggered from the factory. Pick your generation below for the fitment specs.

Find Your Mercedes-Benz C-Class Generation

Pick your chassis to see wheels and rims that fit your specific C-Class. Bolt pattern stays 5x112 / 66.56mm CB across every modern generation. What changes is the wheel size sweet spot, the offset window, and the brake variant. Sedan, coupe, and AMG variants each carry their own measured fitment specs.

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class Bolt Pattern

Every C-Class in our catalog uses 5x112 with a 66.56mm hub bore. That covers the W203, W204, W205, and the current W206, in sedan, coupe, and convertible body styles, and every AMG trim from the C 32 through the modern C 63 S. The pattern has been steady at 5x112 / 66.56mm across the entire modern C-Class era. A wheel from a W204 will bolt onto a W206 hub in terms of stud pattern, but the offset window and the brake clearance shift between generations and between AMG trims, so we measure each chassis separately.

5x112 is the Mercedes-Benz family standard pattern, also used across the modern E-Class, S-Class, GLC, GLE, and most of the modern AMG lineup. It is NOT the same as 5x114.3 used on most Japanese cars. The two patterns sit roughly 2mm apart and are not interchangeable. Compare across the rest of the Mercedes-Benz lineup at our Mercedes-Benz wheels and rims hub.

Why C-Class Trim and Brake Package Determine Wheel Fit

The C-Class is sold across a wide spread of brake packages, from the base C 300 with the standard caliper through the Sport brake package on C 300 / C 400 trims, up through the AMG C 43, C 55, C 63, and C 63 S. Each brake package changes the clearance behind the wheel face and the offset window that will clear the caliper. The 4MATIC all-wheel-drive variants also run different front axle geometry than the rear-wheel-drive cars, which tightens the front wheel offset window on some W205 and W206 builds. The C 63 and C 63 S ship must-staggered front and rear from the factory, with a wider rear wheel and tire than front. We track each combination of generation, brake package, drivetrain, and body style as its own fitment.

Offset windows are tightly controlled for the C-Class brake clearance, especially on AMG and 4MATIC trims. For your exact aftermarket offset, three options:

  • 1. Use our Year/Make/Model search to see wheels that fit your specific C-Class generation, trim, and brake package (each listing shows its own offset).
  • 2. Browse the C-Class wheel gallery for real-life builds with size, offset, and tire spec captions.
  • 3. Call or chat with our team for a free fitment consultation.

How We Confirm Fitment on Mercedes-Benz C-Class Wheels

Element Wheels measures fitment on the platforms we sell wheels for, including every C-Class generation back to the W203. For the C-Class that means clearance from the wheel to the fender, gap between the back of the wheel and the suspension, caliper height for the Base, Sport, C 43, C 55, C 63, and C 63 S brake packages, hub bore confirmation on the 66.56mm Mercedes hub, lug bolt seat depth on the W204 tall-hub trims, and the staggered front-to-rear measurement on AMG trims. At our fitment facility in Chandler, Arizona, the Element Wheels team measures directly on the physical platforms we support. We don't pull specs from manufacturer sheets the way most retailers do.

Every wheel we recommend is backed by our Fitment Guarantee. If a wheel does not fit, we pick up the wheels and refund 100 percent. No risk to you.

Mercedes-Benz C-Class Wheels and Rims FAQ

What is the bolt pattern on a Mercedes-Benz C-Class?

Every modern C-Class uses 5x112 with a 66.56mm hub bore. That covers the W203 (2001-2007), W204 (2008-2014), W205 (2015-2021), and W206 (2022 and up), in sedan, coupe, and convertible bodies, and across every AMG trim including C 32, C 43, C 55, C 63, and C 63 S. 5x112 is the Mercedes-Benz family standard; it is NOT the same as 5x114.3 used on most Japanese cars.

W204 vs W205 vs W206: what changes for wheels?

Bolt pattern and hub bore stay the same (5x112 / 66.56mm). The fender wells, brake hardware, and the 4MATIC front axle geometry have evolved across generations. The W204 has a tall front hub that needs a deeper lug bolt seat on some aftermarket wheels. The W205 added the Sport brake package that tightens the front offset window. The W206 4MATIC runs square (front and rear matching) on the standard trims where earlier 4MATIC variants allowed mild stagger. Each generation has its own measured offset range even though the wheels bolt across in terms of stud pattern.

What brake variants does the C-Class have, and why does it matter?

The C-Class is offered with Base brakes, Sport brakes (optional on C 300 and C 400 from W205 forward), the C 43 AMG brake package, the C 55 AMG package (W203 only), and the C 63 / C 63 S AMG brake package. Each brake size changes the clearance behind the wheel face. Sport-brake C 300 wheels need a slightly different inner clearance than Base-brake C 300 wheels. AMG wheels are even tighter. We measure each brake variant as its own catalog row so the offset and width we recommend clears the caliper on your specific car. Confirm which brake package your C-Class has before ordering.

Are AMG C 63 wheels staggered?

Yes. The C 63 and C 63 S AMG are must-staggered fitments front and rear. The rear wheel and tire are wider than the front by design, both from the factory and in our aftermarket catalog. The C 63 Coupe runs the widest staggered spread (9 inch front, 10 to 11 inch rear). The C 63 Sedan runs slightly narrower (8.5 to 9 inch front, 9.5 to 10 inch rear). Square fitment on a C 63 is not the standard build and will look out of place. Non-AMG C 300 and C 400 trims allow square fitment as standard.

What is the largest wheel I can fit on a Mercedes-Benz C-Class?

Our measured aftermarket window tops at 20 inch on every modern C-Class trim, including the C 63 S. The C-Class is a compact sedan with limited fender clearance compared to a larger E-Class or S-Class, so 20 inch is the practical ceiling. 19 inch is the most common AMG choice and 18 inch is popular on C 300 and C 400 trims for ride quality. Going above 20 inch on a C-Class typically requires fender work and is not a build we measure for.

Do I need hub centric rings on a C-Class?

Hub centric rings only when the aftermarket wheel has a centerbore larger than 66.56mm. If your fitment needs rings, they'll be included with the order.

What is the factory OEM offset and torque spec on a Mercedes-Benz C-Class?

The factory C-Class wheel ships with a positive offset in the high 30s to mid 40s mm range on most modern trims, and AMG C 63 / C 63 S front wheels run slightly more conservative offsets to clear the larger brake package. Mercedes-Benz lug bolt torque on the C-Class is approximately 110 Nm (about 81 ft-lbs) for most years; always confirm against your owner manual for your exact year and trim. Re-torque after 50 to 100 miles when installing new wheels. For your specific aftermarket offset, search wheels by your year and trim (each listing publishes its own offset), browse the wheel gallery, or contact our team for a free fitment consultation.

How do I find the right wheels for my specific Mercedes-Benz C-Class?

Confirm your generation (W203 / W204 / W205 / W206), body style (sedan / coupe / convertible), drivetrain (RWD or 4MATIC), and brake package (Base / Sport / AMG). Use our Year/Make/Model search to see wheels that fit your specific C-Class (each listing publishes its own offset) and browse the wheel gallery for real-life builds. If you have an AMG trim or are not sure which brake package you have, contact our team for a free fitment consultation before ordering. Every wheel we recommend is backed by the Fitment Guarantee.
