The second generation NCV3 (2006-2018 globally, 2007 and up in the US) continued the Dodge Sprinter and Freightliner Sprinter rebadging through 2009, after which Mercedes-Benz Sprinter became the primary US nameplate. The third generation VS30 (2019 and up) sells under the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter name. Every Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 in our catalog uses 6x130 with an 84.1mm hub bore. That covers the NCV3 generation (2010-2018) and the VS30 generation (2019 and up). Lug fastener is M14x1.5 thread, lug bolt style.

The 6x130 bolt pattern is the standard Sprinter spec and is also used on the Volkswagen Crafter (the Sprinter's European platform mate) and on a few Porsche models, notably the 911 (964, 993, and 996 chassis). 6x130 / 84.1mm is NOT the same as the 5x112 / 66.56mm pattern Mercedes uses on its passenger cars. A wheel built for a C-Class, E-Class, S-Class, GLC, GLE, or GLS will not fit a Sprinter. This is a different platform with different hardware. The Sprinter shares the Volkswagen Crafter platform on the NCV3 generation, but US Crafter sales did not happen, so this is mostly a European cross-platform note.

Why The Sprinter Has Its Own Fitment Rules

The Sprinter has three fitment topics that decide what fits, and all three are different from any Mercedes passenger car. First, the lug bolt shank length. The Sprinter requires 32 to 33mm shank lug bolts. The 27mm shank lug bolts that work on most Mercedes passenger cars are too short and will not safely engage the Sprinter hub. This is a hard catalog flag and the single most common fitment mistake on the Sprinter. Second, the Sprinter is a square fitment platform (non-staggered) with same size brakes front and rear at a 16 inch brake caliper height. The aftermarket diameter range is 16 to 18 inch, which is compact relative to a passenger SUV but normal for the Sprinter because the platform was engineered for tall sidewall commercial tires that carry load. Going up in diameter beyond 18 inch trades load capacity and ride quality for visual diameter, which is rarely the right call on a working van. Third, the Overland Fitment row covers Sprinters with a 2 inch lift kit installed. The lift narrows the offset window we recommend versus the standard fitment, and supports a slightly wider width (up to 8.5 inch versus 8 inch on standard fitment).
