Mini Clubman Aftermarket Wheel Fitment
The Mini Clubman is the wagon body in the Mini lineup, with the long roof, the side-hinged split rear doors, and a longer wheelbase than the Mini Hardtop. Element Wheels measures fitment across both Clubman generations: the R55-platform Clubman through model year 2014 and the F54 Clubman Sedan from 2016 through 2024. Mini discontinued the Clubman after model year 2024, so this is a closed range with no current production model. The single most important Clubman fitment fact is the bolt pattern change at the F-platform transition. The R55-platform Clubman ran 4x100 with a 56.1mm hub bore, the same as the contemporary R56 Cooper Hardtop. The F54 Clubman Sedan moved to 5x112 with a 66.56mm hub bore to match BMW's small-platform standard. A wheel built for an R55 Clubman will not bolt onto an F54 Clubman. The F54 also offered a John Cooper Works trim with factory Brembo brakes that take more inner clearance behind the wheel face than the base car. Find your generation below and the fitment specs follow.
Find Your Mini Clubman Generation
Pick your year range to see wheels and rims that fit your specific Clubman. The bolt pattern changed at the F-platform transition. R55-era Clubman ran 4x100. F54 Clubman Sedan runs 5x112. The wheels do not bolt across that transition.
The Mini Clubman Bolt Pattern Changed at the F-Platform
The R55-platform Clubman (2011-2014 in the Element catalog) ran 4x100 with a 56.1mm hub bore. That is the same spec the contemporary R56 Cooper Hardtop used because the R55 Clubman shared its mechanical platform with the R56 Hardtop and stretched the wheelbase for the wagon body. The F54 Clubman Sedan launched for the 2016 model year on the BMW UKL2 chassis and the bolt pattern moved to 5x112 with a 66.56mm hub bore. The F54 shared its platform with the F56 Mini Cooper Hardtop and the F60 Countryman, and all three use the same 5x112 / 66.56mm spec. The lug count went from four to five, the hub bore went from 56.1mm to 66.56mm, and the wheels do not bolt across that transition under any circumstances.
There is no 2015 model year Clubman. The R55 line ended after 2014 and the F54 launched for 2016, so the 2015 calendar year is a production gap for the Clubman. If you are shopping wheels for a Clubman labeled 2015, confirm the body style and chassis code (R55 Clubman versus an early F54 sold under a 2015 calendar registration). Compare across the rest of the Mini lineup at our Mini wheels and rims hub.
Why the John Cooper Works Brake Package Changes the Wheel Window
The F54 Clubman John Cooper Works (sold from 2019 through 2024) ships with a factory Brembo brake package, made for Mini by Brembo. The front caliper is a 4-piston fixed unit on a larger rotor than the base Clubman Sedan. The rear runs a single-piston floating caliper. That front brake is physically larger than the brake on the base Clubman, and it takes more inner clearance behind the wheel face. The brake package change is normal for the JCW trim and is normal for performance variants generally. The front axle does the majority of the braking work and the front brake scales up accordingly. The practical fitment effect is that some wheels that clear a base F54 will not clear the JCW Brembo, and the JCW minimum diameter is one step larger than the base car's minimum diameter.

How We Confirm Fitment on Mini Clubman Wheels
Element Wheels measures fitment on the platforms we sell wheels for, including both Mini Clubman generations. For the Clubman that means clearance from the wheel to the fender (the Clubman has slightly more fender room than the Mini Cooper Hardtop because the wagon body has a longer wheelbase and different fender geometry), gap between the back of the wheel and the suspension, brake caliper height (base vs Brembo on the F54 JCW), hub bore fit, and turning radius clearance. At our fitment facility in Chandler, Arizona, the Element Wheels team measures directly on the physical platforms we support. We don't pull specs from manufacturer sheets the way most retailers do. That measurement work is what produced the platform-specific and trim-specific fitment windows on this page.
Mini Clubman Wheels and Rims FAQ
What is the bolt pattern on a Mini Clubman?
It depends on the generation. The R55-platform Clubman (2011-2014 in our catalog) ran 4x100 with a 56.1mm hub bore. The F54 Clubman Sedan (2016-2024) moved to 5x112 with a 66.56mm hub bore. The wheels do not bolt across that transition.
Will my R55 Clubman wheels fit an F54 Clubman?
No. The R55 Clubman runs 4x100 with a 56.1mm hub bore. The F54 Clubman runs 5x112 with a 66.56mm hub bore. The lug count is different (four vs five) and the patterns are not interchangeable. Moving from an R55 to an F54 requires a new wheel set built for the 5x112 spec.
Is there a 2015 Mini Clubman?
The R55 Clubman line ended after model year 2014 and the F54 Clubman Sedan launched for model year 2016, so 2015 is a production gap for the Clubman. If a car is registered as a 2015 Clubman, confirm the body code and chassis. R55 chassis is 4x100. F54 chassis is 5x112. The fastest way to confirm is to count the lugs on a wheel.
Does the John Cooper Works Brembo brake change the wheels I can buy?
The bolt pattern and hub bore are the same as a base F54 Clubman (5x112 / 66.56mm). What changes is the front brake clearance. The JCW factory Brembo is a 4-piston caliper on a larger rotor and it takes more inner clearance behind the front wheel face than the base Clubman brake. Some wheels that clear a base F54 will not clear the JCW Brembo. Our Year/Make/Model search returns the right window for the JCW specifically, and we measure both the base Clubman and the JCW Brembo separately on the car.
Are Mini Clubman wheels staggered?
No. Every Clubman generation runs a square (non-staggered) fitment from the factory and almost every aftermarket build also runs square. The Clubman was offered in front wheel drive and ALL4 all wheel drive. ALL4 trims must be run square because mismatched wheel and tire diameters across the axles cause drivetrain damage on an all wheel drive Mini.
What is the largest wheel I can fit on a Mini Clubman?
Our Element-measured aftermarket window tops at 19 inch on every Clubman generation, R55 and F54. The Clubman is a wagon with slightly more fender room than the Mini Cooper Hardtop, but the diameter ceiling stays at 19 inch because the wagon's longer wheelbase and stock ride height limit usable tire diameter. Most aftermarket Clubman builds land at 18 or 19 inch for the balance of look and ride.
Is the Mini Clubman still made?
No. Mini discontinued the Clubman after the 2024 model year. The F54 Clubman Sedan is the final generation. The Mini lineup going forward is the Cooper Hardtop, the Countryman crossover, and the Cooper SE Electric. If you own a Clubman you can still buy aftermarket wheels and rims for it through the Element catalog. The fitment data does not expire when the model line ends.
Do I need hub centric rings on a Mini Clubman?
On the R55 Clubman, hub centric rings only when the aftermarket wheel has a centerbore larger than 56.1mm. On the F54 Clubman, only when the aftermarket wheel has a centerbore larger than 66.56mm. If your fitment needs rings, they'll be included with the order.
Get Mini Clubman Wheels Right the First Time
Pick your generation above to see wheels and rims that fit. We measure on the Clubman platform across both the R55 era (4x100) and the F54 Sedan era (5x112), and we track the F54 John Cooper Works Brembo brake clearance separately. The Clubman is out of production after 2024, but the fitment data and the Fitment Guarantee still apply. Find your fit and start enjoying your build sooner.
