The Porsche Cayenne Bolt Pattern

Every Cayenne ever built runs 5x130 with M14x1.5 lug bolts (Porsche runs bolts, not studs and nuts). The pattern has been unchanged across the 955 (2003-2007), 957 (the 2008-2010 mid-cycle refresh of the 955), 958 (2011-2017), and the current 9Y0 / 9YA (2018 and up). Centerbore is 71.5mm on the older trucks and 71.6mm on some newer ones. The 0.1mm difference does not matter for the wheel to bolt up, but it does matter for the hub-centric ring you use.

The Cayenne is the original Porsche SUV and the founding model of the SUV chassis that VW Group later expanded into a full luxury-SUV family. The first generation 955/957 sits on the same Audi-Porsche-VW SUV platform as the first generation Audi Q7 (4L) and the first generation Volkswagen Touareg, with all three sharing 5x130 / 71.6mm CB. The current 9Y0/9YA Cayenne sits on the VW Group MLB Evo platform, shared with the current Audi Q7 (4M) chassis architecture, the current Touareg, the Bentley Bentayga, and the Lamborghini Urus, with the Cayenne (and the Bentayga, and the Urus) staying on the SUV-specific 5x130 / 71.5mm bolt pattern while the 4M Q7 and the Touareg moved to 5x112. That heritage matters when you find a used set of Bentayga or Urus OEM wheels: they share 5x130 with the Cayenne and will bolt. Offset and brake clearance are the next questions. Why Cayenne Brake Spec Determines Wheel Fit

The Cayenne is sold across three brake packages and each one carries its own offset window and its own concavity limit. The Steel brake package ships on the base Cayenne and Cayenne S, with the smallest factory rotor and the most clearance behind the wheel face. The Surface-Coated brake package is a large performance rotor that Porsche moved up to on the GTS and Turbo trims; the caliper sits higher in the wheel cavity and the offset window tightens. The PCCB ceramic brake is the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake package, a carbon ceramic rotor that ships on the Turbo S and as an option on Turbo and GTS trims. PCCB carriers and pad packs sit deeper in the wheel cavity than even the Surface-Coated package, which means a deeply concave aftermarket wheel face that clears a Steel-brake Cayenne can hit a PCCB caliper.

A note on brake sizing across the lineup: it is normal on a performance SUV like the Cayenne for the front brakes to be larger than the rear. That is the factory configuration and not a sign of mismatched parts; the front axle does more of the work in stopping a heavy luxury SUV. We measure both axles separately on every Cayenne brake package. Confirm your exact trim and brake spec before ordering.
