The Subaru Tribeca Bolt Pattern

Every Subaru Tribeca from 2006 through 2014 runs 5x114.3 (also expressed as 5x4.5 in imperial, where the 4.5 refers to the 114.3mm bolt circle diameter) with a 56.1mm hub bore. This is the larger Subaru bolt pattern, the same one used on the WRX STI 2008-2014 and the same one that became the lineup wide Subaru standard from 2015 onward (Outback, Legacy, Forester, modern WRX). Lug hardware is M12x1.25 nuts on studs across every Tribeca trim and year.

Important context: the Tribeca was Subaru's first 5x114.3 SUV in the US, launched in 2006. The 2004-2007 WRX STI (GD chassis) was already running 5x114.3 on the sedan side by the time the Tribeca arrived, but the rest of the Subaru lineup (Impreza, base WRX, Forester, Outback, Legacy) stayed on 5x100 until 2015. That makes a Tribeca incompatible by bolt pattern with most of the contemporary Subaru lineup. A wheel from a 2006-2014 Impreza, base WRX, Forester, or Outback (5x100) will NOT bolt to a Tribeca. A wheel from a 2004-2014 WRX STI (5x114.3) WILL match the Tribeca on bolt pattern and hub bore. Equally important: 5x114.3 is NOT the same as 5x115. The 5x114.3 (4.5 inch) imperial nickname is specific to 114.3mm. A wheel built for 5x115 (common on Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger, Dodge Challenger, and some other GM cars) will not bolt to a Tribeca. The Subaru Tribeca was sold from 2006 through 2014 as a single platform mid-size three row crossover. The 2006-2007 model years were branded as B9 Tribeca. From 2008 onward the B9 prefix was dropped and the car was sold simply as Tribeca. Engine options were the 3.0 H6 boxer (2006-2007) and the 3.6 H6 boxer (2008-2014).
