Toyota launched the current generation Crown for the 2023 model year on the TNGA-K architecture. The bolt pattern is 5x114.3 with a 60.1mm hub bore on every Crown, and the lug thread is M14x1.5 (larger than the typical Toyota M12x1.5).

The Toyota Crown Bolt Pattern and Lug Thread

Every Toyota Crown uses 5x114.3 with a 60.1mm hub bore. The pattern is also written as 5x4.5 in imperial because 114.3mm equals 4.5 inches exactly. 5x4.5 refers ONLY to 5x114.3. It does NOT refer to 5x115, which is a different bolt pattern used on Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger LX, and similar American sedans. The two patterns sit about 0.7mm apart on the bolt circle and are not interchangeable. A 5x115 wheel will not bolt onto a Crown.

The Crown also uses a larger lug thread than most of the Toyota lineup. Most Toyota cars and crossovers (Camry, RAV4, Sienna, Highlander, Avalon, C-HR, Corolla Cross) use M12x1.5 lug studs. The Crown uses M14x1.5, which matches the Lexus side of the family on the shared TNGA-K architecture. The thicker stud carries more clamping force, the same reasoning that applies on the Lexus LS and other heavier vehicles on the same chassis family. If you are reusing aftermarket lug nuts from a previous Toyota or sourcing locks separately, you need M14x1.5 conical or ball seat hardware, not M12x1.5. Lug nuts sized for M12 will not thread onto M14 studs. We supply the right hardware on every Crown wheel order if you need it.

The 5x114.3 / 60.1mm hub spec is the Toyota family hub spec, shared with the Camry, RAV4, Sienna, Highlander, Avalon, and most modern Toyota cars and crossovers. The hub geometry on the Crown matches them at the bolt circle and hub bore. The lug thread is where the Crown diverges. A wheel listed for a 5x114.3 / 60.1mm Toyota will physically bolt to a Crown using the right M14x1.5 hardware, but the fitment window (offset, brake clearance, fender room) is platform-specific to the TNGA-K architecture. Toyota positions the Crown as a US-market flagship sedan, returning after a long hiatus from the US market while the Crown nameplate continued in Japan throughout.

Two body styles are offered in the US. The Crown sedan launched for 2023 with a lifted sedan stance and a hybrid powertrain across the lineup. The Crown Signia crossover joined for 2025 as a more conventional crossover body on the same TNGA-K chassis. Both share the 5x114.3 bolt pattern, the 60.1mm hub bore, and the M14x1.5 lug thread. Ride height and fender opening differ between the sedan and the Signia, so the aftermarket fitment window is checked separately even though the hub spec is identical.
