The Toyota Land Cruiser is the iconic full-size body-on-frame SUV. Element Wheels measures fitment across every US-market generation, from the 80-series (1991-1997) through the 100-series (1998-2007), the 200-series (2008-2021), and the all-new 250-series (2024 and up). Two important Land Cruiser fitment facts shape this hub. First, the bolt pattern is not constant across generations. The 80-series ran 6x139.7 (6x5.5 inch). The 100-series and 200-series moved to 5x150. The new 250-series returns to 6x139.7 to share hardware with the latest 4Runner and the Lexus GX 550. Second, the Land Cruiser was NOT sold in the United States between 2022 and 2023; the 200-series ended after the 2021 model year and the 250-series did not arrive in the US until model year 2024. The Toyota Land Cruiser Bolt Pattern and the US-Market Gap

The Land Cruiser bolt pattern depends on your generation, and this is the single most important fitment fact on the platform. The 80-series (1991-1997) ran 6x139.7, also called 6x5.5 inch (139.7mm = 5.5"), with a 106.1mm factory hub bore. The 100-series (1998-2007) and 200-series (2008-2021) moved to 5x150, which is a less common 5-lug pattern shared with the Sequoia, Tundra, and LX 470 / LX 570 from the same era, with a 110mm factory hub bore. The 250-series (2024 and up) returns to 6x139.7 with a 95.1mm hub bore, sharing wheel hardware with the latest Toyota 4Runner and the Lexus GX 550 on the new TNGA-F platform. A wheel built for a 200-series 5x150 will not bolt onto a 250-series 6x139.7, and a wheel built for an 80-series 6x139.7 will not bolt onto a 100-series 5x150 either. The lug count is different on both transitions.

The Land Cruiser was not officially sold in the United States between model year 2022 and model year 2023. Toyota ended US sales of the 200-series after 2021 and did not bring the 300-series (J300, sold in the Middle East, Asia, and Australia) to the US. The 250-series (J250) arrived in the US for model year 2024 on a different platform from the 300-series. If you are shopping for a Land Cruiser in that gap year range, the truck does not exist in US-spec form, and we cannot recommend US wheel fitments for it. Why Land Cruiser Stock vs Overland Fitment Matters

The Land Cruiser has two distinct buyer profiles. Luxury and street owners running 20 to 24 inch wheels on a stock-height truck for visual presence. Overland builders running 17 or 18 inch wheels on 33 or 34 inch all-terrain tires with a 2 to 3 inch lift for serious off-road capability. The two profiles ask the wheel to do opposite things. The street build wants a larger diameter that fills the fender. The overland build wants a smaller diameter that gives the tire more sidewall for off-road compliance, plus enough backspace to clear the lift hardware and minor body trimming where required. Element measures these two cases separately on the 100-series and the 200-series.

The 100-series and 200-series both have dedicated overland fitment windows in our catalog. The 100-series overland build runs a 16 to 20 inch diameter with widths up to 9.5 inch. The 200-series overland build runs a 17 to 18 inch diameter with widths up to 9 inch on a 2 to 3 inch lift with 34 inch tires and minor trimming. These are different from the stock-height windows on the same trucks. The new 250-series has not been on the road long enough for us to publish a separate overland window yet, but the platform supports the same stock-vs-overland decision and we measure on the truck as builds come through.
