The Toyota Sienna Bolt Pattern

Every Toyota Sienna built since the platform launched in 1998 uses 5x114.3 with a 60.1mm hub bore. That covers the XL10 (1998-2003), the XL20 (2004-2010), the XL30 (2011-2020), and the current XL40 (2021 and up). The pattern is also written as 5x4.5 in imperial; 5x4.5 refers ONLY to 5x114.3 (114.3mm = 4.5 inches). It does NOT refer to 5x115, which is a different bolt pattern used on Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger LX, and similar American sedans. The two patterns sit about 0.7mm apart and are not interchangeable. A 5x115 wheel will not bolt onto a Sienna.

The 5x114.3 / 60.1mm combination is the Toyota family hub spec. It is shared with the Camry, RAV4, Highlander, Avalon, and most modern Toyota cars and crossovers. Wheels listed for any 5x114.3 / 60.1mm Toyota physically bolt to the Sienna on hub geometry. What changes between platforms is the offset window, the brake clearance, and the fender room, so a wheel built for a Camry will not always sit correctly on a Sienna even though the bolt math matches. The Sienna carries more curb weight than a Camry and uses a larger front brake, so inner-barrel clearance and load rating both matter on this platform. We measure each platform separately. Sienna Trim Differences That Matter for Wheel Fitment

Most Sienna trims share the same fitment window within a generation. LE, XLE, Limited, Platinum, and (on the XL40) the XSE all use 5x114.3 with a 60.1mm hub bore and run square (same width front and rear). The Sienna has offered all-wheel-drive on every generation since the XL20 (2004 launch), and the AWD trims share the same bolt pattern, hub bore, and aftermarket wheel diameter window as the front-wheel-drive trims of the same year. Drivetrain is not a fitment-box axis on the Sienna.

The XL40 Sienna (2021 and up) is hybrid-only in the US market. Toyota dropped the gasoline-only powertrain when the XL40 launched, so every 2021 and newer Sienna is a hybrid. The hybrid powertrain does not change wheel fitment. The added battery weight is part of the factory load calibration, and the factory wheel and tire spec accommodates it. A wheel that fits a base XL40 LE fits a Limited or Platinum XL40. Load rating on the tire matters more on the Sienna than on a smaller car. It is the heaviest passenger vehicle in the Toyota lineup outside the truck and SUV side, so when we recommend a tire on a Sienna upgrade we confirm the load index reaches the factory minimum.
