The Toyota Tundra is Toyota's full-size half-ton truck and one of the more interesting fitment platforms in our catalog because the bolt pattern has changed twice. The 1st gen (2000-2006) ran 6x139.7 with a 106mm hub bore. The 2nd gen (2007-2021) moved to a Toyota-specific 5x150 pattern with a 110mm hub bore. The 3rd gen (2022 and up) went back to 6x139.7 with a 95mm hub bore. Lug count alone does not tell you the year. You also need to know which 6-lug generation you are on, because the 1st gen and 3rd gen six-lug trucks share the bolt pattern but differ on hub bore. The Toyota Tundra Bolt Pattern

The Tundra has used three different combinations of bolt pattern and hub bore across its three generations. The 1st gen (2000-2006) ran 6x139.7 (also called 6x5.5) with a 106mm hub bore. The 2nd gen (2007-2021) used a Tundra-specific 5x150 pattern with a 110mm hub bore that does not interchange with any other half-ton truck on the road. The 3rd gen (2022 and up) returned to 6x139.7 but with a smaller 95mm hub bore. Three Tundra generations, three different hub specs.

Lug count tells you only half the story on this truck. 5 studs means a 2007-2021 Tundra and 5x150. 6 studs means either a 1st gen (2000-2006) or a 3rd gen (2022 and up), and the hub bore on those two is different (106mm versus 95mm), so wheels do not cross between them even though the bolt pattern matches. Why Tundra Stock vs Lifted Fitment Matters

The Tundra has one of the most active aftermarket lift markets in the half-ton segment. Stock-height owners run 18 to 24 inch wheels for street and overland builds. Leveled trucks running 33 inch tires move into a different fitment window. 3.5 to 4 inch lifts on 33s and 6 to 7 inch lifts on 35s each get their own measurements in our catalog. The wheel that fits a stock-height Tundra can rub the inner fender or hit a control arm once the truck is lifted, and the wider lifted-fitment wheels often poke past the fender on a stock-height truck.

Two Tundra-specific details. On the 2022 and newer 3rd gen, several leveled and lifted fitments running 35 inch tires require the front mud flap to be removed for tire clearance. We flag this in the catalog notes before shipping so the work can be planned, not discovered on installation day. Second, the 3rd gen Tundra is tracked as Non-TRD Pro and TRD Pro separately, because the TRD Pro suspension package changes ride height and tire clearance enough to shift the fitment window. Both trims are documented separately in our catalog. This is the kind of detail generic spec calculators do not catch.
