Acura ILX Aftermarket Wheel Fitment
The Acura ILX was Acura's entry-level compact luxury sedan, built on the 9th-generation Honda Civic platform and sold from 2013 through 2022. Acura discontinued the ILX after the 2022 model year and revived the Integra nameplate for 2023 on the 11th-generation Civic platform; the modern Integra is effectively the ILX's replacement in the Acura lineup. The ILX itself ran two distinct cars across one generation: the pre-facelift (2013-2018) and the post-facelift refresh (2019-2022) with revised front and rear styling, the A-Spec trim package (from 2016 forward), and a steady mechanical platform underneath. The bolt pattern stays constant across every ILX: 5x114.3 with a 64.1mm hub bore, the Honda compact-car standard inherited from the same-era Civic. The ILX never had a Type-S trim; the A-Spec is a styling package, not a separate fitment. Pick your year range below for the fitment specs that apply to your specific ILX.
Find Your Acura ILX Generation
Pick your year range to see wheels and rims that fit your specific ILX. The bolt pattern is 5x114.3 with a 64.1mm hub bore across every ILX, pre-facelift and post-facelift. The two splits below are the same chassis with different front and rear styling and trim availability. The A-Spec was a trim package introduced for 2016 that included sport bumpers, side skirts, and a unique wheel design, but it sits on the same 5x114.3 / 64.1mm fitment box as the base ILX.
The Acura ILX Bolt Pattern
The ILX runs a single bolt pattern across its entire 2013-2022 production: 5x114.3 with a 64.1mm hub bore. This is the Honda compact-car standard, sometimes called 5x4.5 because 114.3mm equals 4.5 inches. The pattern matches the same-era 9th-generation Honda Civic Si (the ILX's mechanical donor) and a broad swath of Honda and Acura sedans going back decades. The 64.1mm hub bore is also the Honda compact standard.
Wheel size has stepped up over the lifetime of the chassis. The Element-measured aftermarket window runs 16 to 20 inch in diameter across both the pre-facelift and post-facelift, with the most common aftermarket choices in the 17 to 18 inch range. Width window is 7 to 9 inch front and 8 to 9.5 inch rear; the ILX is front-wheel-drive and square (matched front and rear width) is the standard configuration, but the catalog leaves a slightly wider rear option open for owners who want a mild stagger. Compare across the rest of the Acura lineup at our Acura wheels and rims hub.
Why the ILX Catalog Still Matters
The ILX is a discontinued nameplate, but the fitment data still runs because the cars are on the road and the wheel-shopping demand has not gone away. The 2022 model year was the final ILX; Acura built it as Acura's entry sedan for ten model years and replaced it with the 2023 Integra. The wheel fitment between the two cars is not interchangeable in the way some platform-sibling pairs are: the ILX and the modern Integra Base / A-Spec do share the same 5x114.3 / 64.1mm bolt pattern, but the modern Integra runs a wider aftermarket diameter range (17 to 20 inch versus 16 to 20 inch on the ILX) and the brake setup is different. A wheel that fits an ILX may not clear a modern Integra's brakes, and vice versa. The ILX and the modern Integra Type S do NOT share a bolt pattern; the Type S moves to 5x120 with a 70.1mm hub bore. We measure the ILX separately from both.

Publishable factory and wheel specs across the ILX generations:
- 1st Gen Pre-Facelift ILX (2013-2018): 5x114.3 bolt pattern, 64.1mm hub bore. Element aftermarket diameter range: 16 to 20 inch. Aftermarket width range: 7 to 9 inch front, 8 to 9.5 inch rear. Square is the standard configuration.
- 1st Gen Post-Facelift ILX (2019-2022): 5x114.3 bolt pattern, 64.1mm hub bore. Element aftermarket diameter range: 16 to 20 inch. Aftermarket width range: 7 to 9 inch front, 8 to 9.5 inch rear. A-Spec trim package available; same fitment box as the base ILX.
For your exact aftermarket offset, three options:
- 1. Use our Year/Make/Model search to see wheels that fit your specific ILX (each listing shows its own offset).
- 2. Browse the Acura ILX wheel gallery for real-life builds with size, offset, and tire spec captions.
- 3. Call or chat with our team for a free fitment consultation.
Every wheel we recommend is backed by our Fitment Guarantee. If a wheel does not fit, we pick up the wheels and refund 100 percent. No risk to you.
How We Confirm Fitment on Acura ILX Wheels
Element Wheels measures fitment on the platforms we sell wheels for, including both the pre-facelift and post-facelift ILX. For the ILX that means clearance from the wheel to the fender, gap between the back of the wheel and the suspension, brake caliper height, hub bore confirmation, lug seat depth, and turning clearance at full lock. At our fitment facility in Chandler, Arizona, the Element Wheels team measures directly on the physical platforms we support. We don't pull specs from manufacturer sheets the way most retailers do.
That measurement work is what produced the per-generation fitment windows on this page and lets us answer the more common ILX-specific questions: whether wheels listed for the 9th-gen Civic Si will clear the ILX's brakes, what the practical upper diameter limit is before tire sidewall thins too far, and which aftermarket offset windows hold the wheel face flush with the front fender on the post-facelift styling. Get the year right and the wheel choice follows.
Acura ILX Wheels and Rims FAQ
What is the bolt pattern on an Acura ILX?
5x114.3 with a 64.1mm hub bore on every ILX, 2013 through 2022. The bolt pattern does not change between the pre-facelift (2013-2018) and the post-facelift (2019-2022), and the A-Spec trim package shares the same fitment box as the base ILX. Sometimes called 5x4.5, because 114.3mm equals 4.5 inches.
Was the Acura ILX replaced by the Integra?
Yes. The 2022 ILX was the final model year. Acura revived the Integra nameplate for the 2023 model year on the 11th-gen Honda Civic platform, taking the entry-Acura-sedan spot the ILX held. The ILX and the modern Integra Base / A-Spec share the 5x114.3 / 64.1mm bolt pattern, but the modern Integra Type S moves to 5x120 / 70.1mm and is a different fitment box. Wheels are not directly interchangeable between an ILX and any Integra without checking brake clearance and offset window separately.
Is the ILX A-Spec a different fitment from the base ILX?
No. A-Spec is a trim package introduced for 2016 (and continued through 2022) that adds sport bumpers, side skirts, a rear lip, and a different factory wheel design. It does not change the bolt pattern, hub bore, brake setup, or aftermarket fitment window. An A-Spec ILX runs the same 5x114.3 / 64.1mm fitment as a base ILX of the same year. The A-Spec was never a separate trim with a unique brake package the way Type-S is on the TLX or modern Integra.
Are Acura ILX wheels staggered?
Square is the factory configuration on every ILX. The ILX is front-wheel-drive and from the factory it runs the same wheel and tire spec on every corner. Our measured aftermarket window leaves a slightly wider rear option open (rear width up to 9.5 inch versus 9 inch in front) for owners who want a mild stagger, but the standard build is square and there is no aftermarket reason to run staggered on a FWD compact unless it is a styling choice.
Will 9th gen Honda Civic Si wheels fit my ILX?
The bolt pattern crosses (5x114.3 / 64.1mm on both), but brake caliper sizes, fender clearance, and factory offset windows differ between the Civic Si and the ILX even at the same bolt pattern. We measure each car separately. Confirm a wheel was fit-tested on the ILX specifically before ordering. The platform shares mechanicals, not finished body and brake geometry.
What is the largest wheel I can fit on an Acura ILX?
Our measured aftermarket window tops at 20 inch on both the pre-facelift and post-facelift ILX. The most common aftermarket choices sit in the 17 to 18 inch range, which is also where ride quality and tire sidewall hold up best on a compact luxury sedan. Above 20 inch, tire sidewall thins enough that ride quality drops and the wheel sits at curb-damage risk.
Do I need hub centric rings on an Acura ILX?
Hub centric rings only when the aftermarket wheel has a centerbore larger than 64.1mm. If your fitment needs rings, they'll be included with the order.
How do I find the right wheels for my specific Acura ILX build?
Two steps. Confirm whether your ILX is the pre-facelift (2013-2018) or the post-facelift (2019-2022). Then use our Year/Make/Model search to see wheels that fit your specific ILX (each listing shows its own offset) and browse the wheel gallery for real-life builds. The bolt pattern is the same across every ILX, so the year mainly determines which factory offset window and brake clearance applies. Every wheel we recommend is backed by the Fitment Guarantee.
