Acura RSX Aftermarket Wheel Fitment

The Acura RSX is the North American name for the DC5-chassis sport coupe Honda sold from 2002 through 2006. Outside North America, the same car was sold as the Honda Integra DC5; the RSX is the original Integra's direct successor in NA after the 4th-gen DC2 Integra Type-R wrapped in 2001. The RSX ran a single generation across five model years before Acura discontinued the nameplate after 2006, and the entry-Acura-sport-coupe spot stayed empty until the ILX arrived in 2013 as a sedan, not a coupe. The RSX itself came in two trims: the Base RSX and the Type-S. The Type-S got the K20A2 engine (rev-higher VTEC, more power), a close-ratio 6-speed manual, larger front brakes, Recaro front seats, and a 17-inch wheel from the factory. The RSX is one generation, one chassis (DC5), one bolt pattern across every car. The trim split is between the Base RSX and the Type-S. Both run 5x114.3 with a 64.1mm hub bore. The Acura RSX Bolt Pattern

Every RSX, Base and Type-S, runs 5x114.3 with a 64.1mm hub bore. Sometimes called 5x4.5 because 114.3mm equals 4.5 inches. This is the Honda compact-car standard of its era, shared at the bolt pattern with the same-era EP3 Civic Si (the RSX's mechanical donor), the 2002-and-up Honda Civic, and a broad swath of Honda and Acura cars from the 2000s onward. The RSX was the first Integra-family chassis sold in the US with a 5-lug pattern as standard; the earlier DA / DC1-DC4 Integras (1986-2001) ran 4x100 except for the 1997-2001 Type-R, which moved to 5x114.3. That makes the RSX a clean inheritor of the Type-R bolt pattern but on a fresh chassis.

Wheel diameter window on the Element-measured RSX runs 16 to 20 inch. The 17-inch wheel was factory standard on the Type-S; the Base came with a 16-inch wheel from the factory. Most aftermarket builds land in the 17 to 18 inch range for the right balance of fitment, sidewall, and ride quality on a compact sport coupe. The Type-S, the DC5 Chassis, and Brake Clearance

The Acura RSX is the DC5 chassis. In Japan, Europe, and Australia the same car was sold as the Honda Integra (or Integra Type-R for the JDM Type-R variant). The North American market only saw the RSX badge, with a Base and a Type-S trim. The US Type-S got a larger front brake disc than the Base RSX, but the front Brembo calipers fitted to the JDM Integra Type-R were never offered on the US Type-S. Aftermarket wheel fitment between Base and Type-S is broadly the same: 5x114.3 / 64.1mm, 16 to 20 inch diameter, 6 to 8 inch width. The clearance question is the brake disc on the Type-S, which sits closer to the inner barrel of the wheel than the smaller Base disc. We measure both trims separately so a wheel offered for the RSX is verified on whichever variant the customer has.

How We Confirm Fitment on Acura RSX Wheels
