Acura TSX Aftermarket Wheel Fitment

The Acura TSX was Acura's compact sport sedan from 2004 through 2014, slotted in the Acura lineup between the TL and the entry-level ILX (and effectively between the larger US Accord and the Euro-spec Accord). The TSX is the North American name for the Honda Accord Euro (JDM Accord Type-S), not the same car as the US-market Honda Accord. It ran two generations: the 1st gen CL9 (2004-2008) and the 2nd gen CU2 (2009-2013, with the US 2014 model year as the final). Acura discontinued the TSX after 2014 and replaced it with the 1st-gen TLX for 2015. The bolt pattern is the same across both TSX generations: 5x114.3 with a 64.1mm hub bore. The TSX never had a Type-S trim in North America; the 2nd-gen Special Edition (SE) was a cosmetic package, not a separate fitment. Pick your generation below for the fitment specs that apply to your specific TSX.

Find Your Acura TSX Generation

Pick your year range to see wheels and rims that fit your specific TSX. The bolt pattern is 5x114.3 with a 64.1mm hub bore on every TSX, 1st gen and 2nd gen. The width window opens slightly on the 2nd gen because the chassis grew and the fender clearance allows a half-inch more rear width before the wheel face starts to poke.

The Acura TSX Bolt Pattern

Every TSX runs 5x114.3 with a 64.1mm hub bore. Sometimes called 5x4.5 because 114.3mm equals 4.5 inches. The TSX inherited the bolt pattern from the Honda Accord Euro / JDM Accord Type-S (the same chassis under a different name), and the 5x114.3 / 64.1mm spec is the Honda mid-size standard across the same era. The 1st gen CL9 (2004-2008) was a smaller, sport-tuned sedan with the K24A2 engine. The 2nd gen CU2 (2009-2013, US 2014) grew in length and width and added the optional 3.5L V6 (J35Z6) on top of the standard 2.4L K24Z3 four-cylinder. The bolt pattern stayed the same across the V6 and four-cylinder cars, and the hub bore did not change.

The Element-measured aftermarket window runs 17 to 20 inch in diameter across both generations. Width window is 6.5 to 8 inch on the 1st gen CL9 and 6.5 to 8.5 inch on the 2nd gen CU2; the wider rear option on the 2nd gen reflects the larger chassis. Both generations run square (matched front and rear width) from the factory. Compare across the rest of the Acura lineup at our Acura wheels and rims hub.

Why the TSX Catalog Still Matters

The TSX is a discontinued nameplate, but the fitment data still runs. The 2014 model year was the final TSX; Acura built it for ten model years before replacing it with the 1st-gen TLX (2015-2020), which moved to a larger chassis shared with the US Accord. The TSX itself is the Honda Accord Euro chassis (called the Accord Type-S in JDM markets), so wheel data published for "Acura TSX" applies specifically to that Accord Euro / CL9 and CU2 chassis, not the US-market Honda Accord of the same era. That distinction matters because the US Accord ran a different (larger) chassis with different bolt pattern, fender geometry, and brake setup. On the 2nd gen TSX, the Special Edition (SE) trim that ran in 2010, 2011, and 2013 added unique exterior trim and interior accents but did not change the bolt pattern, hub bore, brake disc, or aftermarket fitment window. A Special Edition TSX runs the same 5x114.3 / 64.1mm fitment as a base 2nd gen TSX.

For your exact aftermarket offset, three options:

  • 1. Use our Year/Make/Model search to see wheels that fit your specific TSX (each listing shows its own offset).
  • 2. Browse the Acura TSX wheel gallery for real-life builds with size, offset, and tire spec captions.
  • 3. Call or chat with our team for a free fitment consultation.

Every wheel we recommend is backed by our Fitment Guarantee. If a wheel does not fit, we pick up the wheels and refund 100 percent. No risk to you.

How We Confirm Fitment on Acura TSX Wheels

Element Wheels measures fitment on the platforms we sell wheels for, including both the 1st gen CL9 and the 2nd gen CU2 TSX. For the TSX that means clearance from the wheel to the fender, gap between the back of the wheel and the suspension, brake caliper height, hub bore confirmation, lug seat depth, and turning clearance at full lock. At our fitment facility in Chandler, Arizona, the Element Wheels team measures directly on the physical platforms we support. We don't pull specs from manufacturer sheets the way most retailers do.

That measurement work is what produced the per-generation fitment windows on this page and lets us call out the practical difference between the 1st gen CL9 (narrower body, 8 inch width ceiling) and the 2nd gen CU2 (wider body, 8.5 inch width ceiling). The TSX is also one of the cars where customers regularly assume US Accord wheels will fit; the Accord Euro chassis under the TSX is different, and the bolt pattern, brake setup, and offset window do not match the US Accord of the same era. We measure the TSX separately.

Acura TSX Wheels and Rims FAQ

What is the bolt pattern on an Acura TSX?

5x114.3 with a 64.1mm hub bore on every TSX, 2004 through 2014, across both the 1st gen CL9 and the 2nd gen CU2. Sometimes called 5x4.5 because 114.3mm equals 4.5 inches. The bolt pattern did not change between generations and did not change between the four-cylinder and V6 versions of the 2nd gen.

Is the TSX the same car as the US Honda Accord?

No. The TSX is the North American name for the Honda Accord Euro (JDM Accord Type-S), which is a different chassis from the US-market Honda Accord of the same era. The Accord Euro chassis is smaller and sport-tuned; the US Accord ran a larger chassis with different brake setup, offset window, and in some cases a different bolt pattern. Wheel data for "Acura TSX" applies to the Accord Euro chassis, not the US Accord. We measure the TSX separately from the US Accord.

What's the difference between 1st gen CL9 and 2nd gen CU2 TSX for wheels?

Bolt pattern, hub bore, and aftermarket diameter window are the same: 5x114.3 / 64.1mm, 17 to 20 inch diameter. The difference is width and overall chassis size. The 1st gen CL9 is narrower and our measured width ceiling is 8 inch. The 2nd gen CU2 is wider and the width ceiling moves to 8.5 inch. Brake setup and fender clearance are also different between the generations, so even at the same bolt pattern a wheel verified for a CL9 is not automatically verified for a CU2.

Are Acura TSX wheels staggered?

No. Every TSX generation runs square (non-staggered) fitment from the factory and as the standard aftermarket configuration. Same wheel and tire spec front and rear. The TSX is front-wheel-drive across every generation and there is no aftermarket reason to run staggered on a FWD sport sedan unless it is a styling choice.

Is the TSX Special Edition a different fitment from the base TSX?

No. The Special Edition (SE) was a 2nd gen TSX trim package available in 2010, 2011, and 2013 that added unique exterior trim, badging, and interior accents. It did not change the bolt pattern, hub bore, brake setup, or aftermarket fitment window. A Special Edition TSX runs the same 5x114.3 / 64.1mm fitment as a base 2nd gen TSX. The TSX did not have a Type-S trim in North America.

What is the largest wheel I can fit on an Acura TSX?

Our measured aftermarket window tops at 20 inch on both the 1st gen CL9 and the 2nd gen CU2. The most common aftermarket choices sit in the 18 to 19 inch range, which is also where tire sidewall and ride quality stay reasonable on a sport sedan. Above 20 inch, tire sidewall thins enough that ride quality drops and the wheel sits at curb-damage risk.

Do I need hub centric rings on an Acura TSX?

Hub centric rings only when the aftermarket wheel has a centerbore larger than 64.1mm. If your fitment needs rings, they'll be included with the order.

How do I find the right wheels for my specific Acura TSX build?

Two steps. Confirm whether your TSX is the 1st gen CL9 (2004-2008) or the 2nd gen CU2 (2009-2014). Use our Year/Make/Model search to see wheels that fit your specific TSX (each listing shows its own offset) and browse the wheel gallery for real-life builds. Bolt pattern is the same across both generations, so the year mainly determines width and brake clearance. Every wheel we recommend is backed by the Fitment Guarantee.

Get Acura TSX Wheels Right the First Time

Pick your generation above to see wheels and rims that fit.
