The original ZDX (2010-2013) was a 4-door coupe-style luxury crossover built on the Honda Accord platform family, with a 5x120 bolt pattern and a 64.1mm hub bore. Acura discontinued the original ZDX after 2013. The nameplate returned for 2024 as an all-electric luxury SUV, but the new ZDX is built on General Motors' Ultium electric platform (BEV2), the same chassis as the Cadillac Lyriq. The modern ZDX EV runs a completely different wheel interface from the original ZDX: 6x132 bolt pattern with a 74.5mm hub bore, with a larger front brake package than the rear. The original ZDX (2010-2013) is a 4-door coupe-crossover with an Acura V6 engine, sharing its platform with the same-era Honda Accord and the 2nd gen Acura TL. The modern ZDX EV (2024 and up) is a fully electric SUV built on GM's Ultium platform. The bolt pattern, hub bore, brake package, and wheel diameter window all differ between the two generations.

Two ZDX Generations, Two Completely Different Bolt Patterns

The original 2010-2013 ZDX ran 5x120 with a 64.1mm hub bore. That is the Honda light-truck pattern Acura used on the same-era MDX and 4th gen TL. The original ZDX was a niche 4-door coupe-style crossover (Acura discontinued it after 2013 due to slow sales) but the wheel fitment specs are well documented because the platform is shared with high-volume Acura vehicles of the era.

The modern 2024-and-up ZDX EV is a completely different vehicle. Acura built the modern ZDX on General Motors' Ultium electric platform (BEV2), the same chassis as the Cadillac Lyriq. The Ultium platform uses a 6-lug bolt pattern: 6x132 with a 74.5mm hub bore. That is not an Acura or Honda bolt pattern in any traditional sense; it is the wheel interface GM specified for the Ultium-platform SUVs. The 2024-and-up ZDX EV also runs a larger front brake package than the rear. Wheels for the original 2010-2013 ZDX do not bolt onto the 2024-and-up ZDX EV, and vice versa. Why the ZDX EV Is Different From Any Other Acura

The 2024-and-up ZDX EV is the first electric vehicle in the Acura lineup, and Acura partnered with GM on the platform rather than developing one in-house. The result is an Acura that does not share a bolt pattern, hub bore, or brake package with any other Acura vehicle in our catalog. The 6x132 / 74.5mm spec is shared with the Cadillac Lyriq (same chassis under the skin). The front brake caliper on the ZDX EV is larger than the rear, which is normal on a heavy electric SUV; the front axle does the majority of the regenerative and friction braking work, and the package is sized accordingly. The wheel face needs to clear the larger front caliper. We measure the ZDX EV separately from the rest of the Acura lineup because none of the platform-mate fitment data carries across.

How We Confirm Fitment on Acura ZDX Wheels

For the ZDX that means clearance from the wheel to the fender, gap between the back of the wheel and the suspension, brake caliper height (the front caliper on the ZDX EV is notably larger than the rear), hub bore confirmation (64.1mm on the original, 74.5mm on the EV), lug seat depth on both 5-lug and 6-lug cars, and turning clearance.
