Acura ZDX Aftermarket Wheel Fitment

The Acura ZDX nameplate has covered two completely different vehicles. The original ZDX (2010-2013) was a 4-door coupe-style luxury crossover built on the Honda Accord platform family, with a 5x120 bolt pattern and a 64.1mm hub bore. Acura discontinued the original ZDX after 2013. The nameplate returned for 2024 as an all-electric luxury SUV, but the new ZDX is built on General Motors' Ultium electric platform (BEV2), the same chassis as the Cadillac Lyriq. The modern ZDX EV runs a completely different wheel interface from the original ZDX: 6x132 bolt pattern with a 74.5mm hub bore, with a larger front brake package than the rear. Wheels do not cross between the two ZDX generations. Confirm whether your ZDX is the 2010-2013 gas crossover or the 2024-and-up EV before ordering. Find your vehicle below for the fitment specs that apply.

Find Your Acura ZDX Generation

Pick your year range to see wheels and rims that fit your specific ZDX. The two ZDX generations are different vehicles sharing only the name. The original ZDX (2010-2013) is a 4-door coupe-crossover with an Acura V6 engine, sharing its platform with the same-era Honda Accord and the 2nd gen Acura TL. The modern ZDX EV (2024 and up) is a fully electric SUV built on GM's Ultium platform. The bolt pattern, hub bore, brake package, and wheel diameter window all differ between the two generations.

Two ZDX Generations, Two Completely Different Bolt Patterns

The original 2010-2013 ZDX ran 5x120 with a 64.1mm hub bore. That is the Honda light-truck pattern Acura used on the same-era MDX and 4th gen TL. The original ZDX was a niche 4-door coupe-style crossover (Acura discontinued it after 2013 due to slow sales) but the wheel fitment specs are well documented because the platform is shared with high-volume Acura vehicles of the era.

The modern 2024-and-up ZDX EV is a completely different vehicle. Acura built the modern ZDX on General Motors' Ultium electric platform (BEV2), the same chassis as the Cadillac Lyriq. The Ultium platform uses a 6-lug bolt pattern: 6x132 with a 74.5mm hub bore. That is not an Acura or Honda bolt pattern in any traditional sense; it is the wheel interface GM specified for the Ultium-platform SUVs. The 2024-and-up ZDX EV also runs a larger front brake package than the rear. Wheels for the original 2010-2013 ZDX do not bolt onto the 2024-and-up ZDX EV, and vice versa. If you are cross-shopping ZDX wheels online, the year (and the powertrain) is what determines the fitment. Compare across the rest of the Acura lineup at our Acura wheels and rims hub.

Why the ZDX EV Is Different From Any Other Acura

The 2024-and-up ZDX EV is the first electric vehicle in the Acura lineup, and Acura partnered with GM on the platform rather than developing one in-house. The result is an Acura that does not share a bolt pattern, hub bore, or brake package with any other Acura vehicle in our catalog. The 6x132 / 74.5mm spec is shared with the Cadillac Lyriq (same chassis under the skin). The front brake caliper on the ZDX EV is larger than the rear, which is normal on a heavy electric SUV; the front axle does the majority of the regenerative and friction braking work, and the package is sized accordingly. The wheel face needs to clear the larger front caliper. We measure the ZDX EV separately from the rest of the Acura lineup because none of the platform-mate fitment data carries across.

Element Wheels Measured Aftermarket Fitment, Acura ZDX

Publishable factory and wheel specs across the two ZDX generations:

  • Original ZDX (2010-2013): 5x120 bolt pattern, 64.1mm hub bore. Gas V6 powertrain, Honda Accord platform. Element aftermarket diameter range: 19 to 22 inch. Aftermarket width range: 7.5 to 9 inch square.
  • ZDX EV (2024 and up): 6x132 bolt pattern, 74.5mm hub bore. Electric, GM Ultium platform (same chassis as Cadillac Lyriq). Larger front brake package than rear. Element aftermarket diameter range: 19 to 24 inch. Aftermarket width range: 9 to 10 inch square. Requires confirmed wheel-face clearance for the front caliper.

For your exact aftermarket offset, three options:

  • 1. Use our Year/Make/Model search to see wheels that fit your specific ZDX (each listing shows its own offset).
  • 2. Browse the Acura ZDX wheel gallery for real-life builds with size, offset, and tire spec captions.
  • 3. Call or chat with our team for a free fitment consultation.

Every wheel we recommend is backed by our Fitment Guarantee. If a wheel does not fit, we pick up the wheels and refund 100 percent. No risk to you.

How We Confirm Fitment on Acura ZDX Wheels

Element Wheels measures fitment on the platforms we sell wheels for, including the original 2010-2013 Acura ZDX and the 2024-and-up ZDX EV. For the ZDX that means clearance from the wheel to the fender, gap between the back of the wheel and the suspension, brake caliper height (the front caliper on the ZDX EV is notably larger than the rear), hub bore confirmation (64.1mm on the original, 74.5mm on the EV), lug seat depth on both 5-lug and 6-lug cars, and turning clearance. At our fitment facility in Chandler, Arizona, the Element Wheels team measures directly on the physical platforms we support. We don't pull specs from manufacturer sheets the way most retailers do.

That measurement work is what produced the per-generation fitment windows on this page and what separates the original 5x120 Honda-platform ZDX from the modern 6x132 GM-Ultium ZDX EV. Two ZDX nameplates with no shared mechanical DNA at the wheel hub. The year is the only thing a customer needs to confirm to know which spec applies.

Acura ZDX Wheels and Rims FAQ

What is the bolt pattern on an Acura ZDX?

It depends entirely on the year. The original 2010-2013 ZDX (gas V6, Honda Accord platform) runs 5x120 with a 64.1mm hub bore. The 2024-and-up ZDX EV (electric, GM Ultium platform) runs 6x132 with a 74.5mm hub bore. These are two completely different vehicles sharing only the name. Wheels do not cross between the two ZDX generations.

The ZDX was discontinued in 2013 and came back in 2024. Are the two ZDXs the same vehicle?

No. They share a name only. The original ZDX (2010-2013) was a 4-door coupe-style crossover with an Acura V6 engine, sharing its platform with the same-era Honda Accord and the 4th gen Acura TL. Acura discontinued it after 2013. The modern ZDX EV (2024 and up) is a fully electric SUV built on General Motors' Ultium platform (BEV2), the same chassis as the Cadillac Lyriq. Different engineering, different powertrain, different bolt pattern, different hub bore. The only carryover is the badge.

Why does the 2024 ZDX EV run a 6-lug bolt pattern?

The 2024-and-up ZDX EV is built on GM's Ultium platform, the same chassis as the Cadillac Lyriq. The Ultium-platform luxury SUVs use a 6x132 bolt pattern with a 74.5mm hub bore. That is a GM specification, not an Acura or Honda one. Electric SUVs at this weight class often run 6 lugs because of the added battery and motor mass; the additional stud spreads the clamping load. The Lyriq and ZDX EV share the bolt pattern at the hub but Cadillac and Acura specify their own wheel designs and offset windows, so we measure each car separately even though the chassis is shared.

Are Acura ZDX wheels staggered?

No. Both ZDX generations run square (non-staggered) fitment from the factory. Same wheel spec works front and rear on the original 2010-2013 ZDX and on the 2024-and-up ZDX EV. Both vehicles use AWD across the lineup (Super Handling AWD on the original, dual-motor AWD on the EV), and AWD platforms need matched wheel and tire sizes on every corner.

Will Cadillac Lyriq wheels fit my Acura ZDX EV?

The bolt pattern crosses; the fitment is not guaranteed to. The Cadillac Lyriq and the Acura ZDX EV share the GM Ultium platform (BEV2 chassis) and both use 6x132 with a 74.5mm hub bore at the wheel hub. But fender clearance, factory offset windows, and the published aftermarket diameter window are not identical between the two vehicles. Acura and Cadillac specified their own wheels on top of the shared chassis. Confirm a wheel was fit-tested on the ZDX EV specifically. The Fitment Guarantee covers you either way.

What is the largest wheel I can fit on an Acura ZDX?

Our measured aftermarket window tops at 24 inch on the 2024-and-up ZDX EV and at 22 inch on the original 2010-2013 ZDX. 22 inch is the most common aftermarket choice on the ZDX EV. Above the published windows, tire sidewall thins enough that ride quality drops, and on the heavy ZDX EV the larger front caliper makes inner clearance harder to meet.

Do I need hub centric rings on an Acura ZDX?

It depends on the generation. On the original 2010-2013 ZDX, hub centric rings only when the aftermarket wheel has a centerbore larger than 64.1mm. On the 2024-and-up ZDX EV, rings only when the centerbore is larger than 74.5mm. If your fitment needs rings, they'll be included with the order.

How do I find the right wheels for my specific Acura ZDX build?

Two steps. Confirm whether your ZDX is the 2010-2013 original (gas V6, 5-lug 5x120 / 64.1mm) or the 2024-and-up EV (electric, 6-lug 6x132 / 74.5mm). Then use our Year/Make/Model search to see wheels that fit your specific ZDX and browse the wheel gallery for real-life builds. If your ZDX is the EV, the front brake caliper is larger than the rear, so confirm wheel face clearance before ordering. Contact our team for a free fitment consultation if you have any uncertainty. Every wheel we recommend is backed by the Fitment Guarantee.
