The Alfa Romeo Giulia Bolt Pattern and Hub Bore

Every Alfa Romeo Giulia from 2017 forward runs 5x110 with a 65.1mm hub bore. That covers the base Giulia in rear drive and Q4 all wheel drive form, the Ti and Sprint trims, and the Quadrifoglio on both the steel brake and carbon ceramic brake packages. The 5x110 pattern is the Fiat and Alfa Romeo standard for this class of car and is also used on the Stelvio SUV, which sits on the same Giorgio platform. The 65.1mm hub bore is Alfa Romeo specific. Wheels with a larger centerbore need hub centric rings to bring the bore down to the Giulia hub diameter.

The Giulia uses lug bolts (M14x1.5) threaded directly into the hub, not studs and nuts. This is the European convention and Alfa Romeo follows it across the platform. There is no stud to pre align the wheel before tightening, so a wheel that mounts correctly on the hub depends on the centerbore for centering at speed. Why the Quadrifoglio Splits Off From the Base Giulia

The Quadrifoglio (QV) is the performance Giulia. It runs a Ferrari derived 2.9L twin turbo V6, a rear drive layout (no Q4 all wheel drive option), and a larger Brembo brake package than the base car. The base Giulia accepts an optional staggered fitment, meaning you can run square (same width front and rear) or staggered depending on preference. The Quadrifoglio is a must staggered fitment because the rear track is wider and the rear axle puts down the power. The aftermarket window respects that. We measure the Quadrifoglio steel brake and the Quadrifoglio carbon ceramic brake variants separately because the carbon ceramic caliper face is physically larger than the steel Brembo and takes more room behind the wheel spokes, which moves the rear offset window slightly.

The front brake is larger than the rear on every Giulia, including the base car. That is normal on a performance sport sedan of this caliber. The front axle handles the majority of the braking load and Alfa Romeo scaled the front rotor and caliper accordingly. The wheel face clearance behind the front spokes is the constraint to watch on deeply concave aftermarket designs.
