The Audi A5 Bolt Pattern

Every Audi A5 ever built uses 5x112. That covers the B8 (2008-2017), the B9 (2018 and up), and every S5 and RS5 built on the same chassis. Hub bore is 66.56mm across the lineup. The A5 sits on the same chassis as the Audi A4, which means A4 wheels carry over by bolt pattern, although the offset and brake clearance differ trim by trim.

Worth knowing: 5x112 is a Volkswagen Group bolt pattern. It is NOT the same as 5x114.3 used on Japanese sedans. The two patterns sit roughly 2mm apart and are not interchangeable, even with adapters that re-engineer the stud load. If you are cross-shopping wheels off a Honda or Toyota, the bolt pattern will not match.

Why the B8 to B9 Switch and the Brake Package Matter

The B8 ran from 2008 through 2017 with an 18 to 20 inch wheel window and a 20 to 35mm offset window. The B9 (2018 and up) tightened the offset window slightly (20 to 33mm) and pushed the OEM wheel size toward 19 and 20 inch. Both run 8 to 10.5 inch widths front and rear. The brake package is the bigger variable. S5 stays close to the base A5 offset window. RS5 carries a bigger front brake and a 15 to 25mm offset window on the B9, tighter than either A5 or S5.

The RS5 with carbon ceramic brakes carries the tightest clearance window of any A5-family car we sell. The brake itself does not push much further than the steel option on the RS5, but the carbon ceramic rotor mounting hat takes more clearance behind the wheel face. We measure both versions separately and stock fitments for both. If you are on a B9 RS5 with carbon ceramic, you have to confirm wheel face clearance before ordering. We do that on every wheel we recommend.
