Audi Q4 e-tron Aftermarket Wheel Fitment
The Audi Q4 e-tron is Audi's compact electric crossover, sold from 2022 forward and currently produced. Element Wheels measures the Q4 e-tron across two body styles: the standard Q4 e-tron SUV and the Q4 e-tron Sportback (coupe-SUV roofline). Both share the same fitment family at 5x112 with a 57.1mm hub bore and M14x1.5 lug bolts. The Q4 e-tron rides on the VW Group MEB EV platform, the same dedicated electric architecture Audi shares with the Volkswagen ID.4 and the Skoda Enyaq. Wheels that fit a Q4 e-tron can also fit an ID.4 or Enyaq at the bolt-pattern level because all three sit on the same MEB chassis. Offset windows and brake hardware vary slightly per badge, so we still measure each separately. Pick your body style below for the fitment specs.
Find Your Audi Q4 e-tron Body Style
Pick your body style to see wheels and rims that fit your specific Q4 e-tron. Bolt pattern is constant at 5x112 with a 57.1mm hub bore across both the standard SUV and the Sportback, and the aftermarket fitment window matches between the two. The Sportback is the coupe-SUV roofline version of the standard Q4 e-tron, and the wheel and tire geometry is the same.
The Audi Q4 e-tron Bolt Pattern
The Q4 e-tron uses 5x112 with a 57.1mm hub bore on both the standard SUV and the Sportback body style. Lug hardware is M14x1.5 bolts that thread directly into the hub, the Audi standard. 5x112 is the VW Group's mainstream passenger-car pattern, so the Q4 e-tron shares its bolt pattern with the Audi A3, Q3, A4, Q5, Q7 (4M), and Q8 as well as the rest of the modern Audi family.
The Q4 e-tron's 57.1mm hub bore is the same size used on the Audi Q3 and the rest of the VW Group MQB / MEB compact platform, and smaller than the 66.56mm hub used on the larger Audi SUVs (Q5, Q7 4M, Q8, and the original Audi e-tron / Q8 e-tron). A wheel built for the larger Audi SUVs will bolt onto the Q4 e-tron hub but the 66.56mm centerbore is too large to seat against the 57.1mm Q4 e-tron hub face. The wheel would ride on the lug bolts alone instead of being centered by the hub, which produces vibration. Hub centric rings step the 66.56mm bore down to 57.1mm and resolve the centering issue when cross-shopping.
Worth flagging: the Audi EV lineup runs three different bolt-pattern families depending on the platform. The Q4 e-tron on the MEB platform is 5x112 / 57.1mm. The original Audi e-tron (now renamed Q8 e-tron for 2024 and up) on the MLB Evo platform is 5x112 / 66.56mm (bolt pattern matches the Q4 but centerbore is larger). The Q6 e-tron on the PPE platform is 5x130 / 66.56mm. The e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT sedans on the J1 platform are 5x130 / 71.6mm. Wheels do NOT cross between these Audi EV families. Compare across the rest of the Audi lineup at our Audi wheels and rims hub.
The MEB Platform and the Square Fitment Rule
The Q4 e-tron rides on the VW Group's dedicated MEB EV platform. The same MEB chassis carries the Volkswagen ID.4 and the Skoda Enyaq. All three vehicles share the same wheel architecture at the platform level. The MEB is a clean-sheet EV design, not an internal-combustion platform converted to electric, which is why the Q4 e-tron's fitment family does not match the older Audi e-tron SUV (which sat on the gas-platform MLB Evo). For Q4 e-tron owners cross-shopping wheels off a VW ID.4 or a Skoda Enyaq, the bolt pattern and hub bore match. Brake hardware and offset windows are tuned per Audi badge, so we still measure the Q4 e-tron fitment window separately even when the chassis math is shared.
The Q4 e-tron is a square (non-staggered) fitment from the factory across both body styles. Same wheel and same tire on every corner. The MEB platform's even weight distribution and the AWD dual-motor configuration on the higher trims both reward equal-size wheels at all four corners. Aftermarket builds also run square almost universally. The Sportback (coupe-SUV roofline) runs the same fitment window as the standard Q4 e-tron SUV. The lower roofline trades rear headroom and cargo space for a different silhouette, and the wheel does not interact with that trade-off.

How We Confirm Fitment on Audi Q4 e-tron Wheels
Element Wheels measures fitment on the platforms we sell wheels for, including both the Q4 e-tron SUV and the Q4 e-tron Sportback. For the Q4 e-tron that means clearance from the wheel to the fender, gap between the back of the wheel and the suspension and battery enclosure (a consideration on dedicated EV chassis that gas SUVs do not have), brake caliper height, hub bore confirmation at 57.1mm, lug bolt thread engagement depth, and turning clearance with the wheel and tire installed. At our fitment facility in Chandler, Arizona, the Element Wheels team measures directly on the physical platforms we support. We don't pull specs from manufacturer sheets the way most retailers do.
That measurement work is what produced the published fitment window on this page, including the 19 inch minimum diameter that handles the Q4 e-tron's curb weight and the 22 inch top end that keeps tire sidewall in a range that protects ride quality and pothole tolerance.
Audi Q4 e-tron Wheels and Rims FAQ
What is the bolt pattern on an Audi Q4 e-tron?
Every Audi Q4 e-tron uses 5x112 with a 57.1mm hub bore and M14x1.5 lug bolts on both the SUV and the Sportback. 5x112 is the Volkswagen Group standard pattern. The 57.1mm hub bore matches the rest of the MEB EV platform (VW ID.4, Skoda Enyaq) and is smaller than the 66.56mm hub on the larger Audi SUVs.
Q4 e-tron SUV vs Q4 e-tron Sportback: what changes for wheels?
Nothing changes for wheels. The Sportback is the coupe-SUV roofline version of the standard Q4 e-tron. Bolt pattern (5x112), hub bore (57.1mm), brake hardware, diameter window (19 to 22 inch), and width window (8 to 9 inch front and rear, square) all match between the two body styles. The Sportback's lower roofline trades rear headroom and cargo space for a different visual silhouette and the wheel does not interact with that trade-off.
Will VW ID.4 or Skoda Enyaq wheels fit a Q4 e-tron?
Bolt pattern and hub bore both match. The Q4 e-tron, VW ID.4, and Skoda Enyaq all sit on the VW Group MEB EV platform and share 5x112 with a 57.1mm hub bore. The wheels bolt and center to the same hub. Brake hardware and offset windows are tuned per badge, so a wheel that fits an ID.4 nicely can sit slightly differently on a Q4 e-tron. We measure the Q4 e-tron fitment window separately. If you find an OEM MEB wheel set, the platform math says it can mount. Whether it lines up flush with the Q4 e-tron's fenders is a measurement question.
Will Audi e-tron, Q6 e-tron, or e-tron GT wheels fit my Q4 e-tron?
No on all three. The original Audi e-tron and the Q8 e-tron run 5x112 (matching) but with a 66.56mm hub bore on the MLB Evo platform. The wheels bolt on but need hub centric rings to step the 66.56mm centerbore down to the Q4 e-tron's 57.1mm. The Q6 e-tron runs 5x130 with a 66.56mm hub on the PPE platform, so the bolt pattern does not match the Q4 e-tron. The e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT run 5x130 with a 71.6mm hub on the J1 platform, so the bolt pattern does not match either. The Audi EV lineup runs three separate bolt-pattern families and the Q4 e-tron is in its own MEB family.
Are Audi Q4 e-tron wheels staggered?
No. The Q4 e-tron runs a square (non-staggered) fitment from the factory across both body styles. The MEB platform's even weight distribution and the AWD dual-motor configuration on higher trims both reward equal-size wheels at all four corners. Almost every aftermarket Q4 e-tron build also runs square.
What is the largest wheel I can fit on an Audi Q4 e-tron?
Our measured aftermarket window tops at 22 inch diameter on both the Q4 e-tron SUV and the Sportback. Above 22 inch the tire sidewall thins enough that ride quality drops noticeably on an EV with significant curb weight, range takes a measurable hit, and pothole risk increases sharply. Most aftermarket Q4 e-tron buyers land at 20 or 21 inch.
Do I need hub centric rings on an Audi Q4 e-tron?
Hub centric rings only when the aftermarket wheel has a centerbore larger than 57.1mm. Aftermarket wheels with a 66.56mm bore intended for the larger Audi SUVs (Q5, Q7 4M, Q8, original e-tron / Q8 e-tron) are common and those need rings to seat against the Q4 e-tron hub. If your fitment needs rings, they'll be included with the order.
How do I find the right wheels for my specific Audi Q4 e-tron?
Pick your body style above (SUV or Sportback). Use our Year/Make/Model search to see wheels that fit your specific Q4 e-tron and browse the wheel gallery for real-life builds with size, offset, and tire captions. If you are cross-shopping wheels off a VW ID.4, a Skoda Enyaq, or a larger Audi SUV, contact our team for a free fitment consultation before ordering so we can confirm centerbore and clearance. Every wheel we recommend is backed by the Fitment Guarantee.
