The Audi RS4 is the full-performance version of the A4, sitting above the warm S4 in the A4 family. The RS4 line started with the B5 Avant in 2000 and has continued across the B7 (2007-2008), B8 (2012-2015), and B9 (2018 and up) generations, with the Avant wagon body the signature variant and a sedan version added in the B7 era. Our active fitment catalog covers the B7 RS4 (2007-2008). The B7 RS4 sits on the same chassis as the standard A4 and the S4 of that era, sharing the 5x112 bolt pattern and the 57.1mm hub bore, but it ships with a larger Brembo brake package and tighter aftermarket offset window than either. The B7 RS4 (2007-2008) is the generation we have measured and cataloged. Bolt pattern is 5x112 with a 57.1mm hub bore. The B5 (2000-2001), B8 (2012-2015), and B9 (2018 and up) RS4 generations exist and share the same 5x112 bolt pattern (the centerbore steps up to 66.56mm on the B8 and B9, mirroring the A4 and S4 of those years), but they are not in our active fitment catalog as of this writing. The Audi RS4 Bolt Pattern

The B7 RS4 uses 5x112 with M14x1.5 lug bolts. Audi runs bolts on its sedans, not studs and nuts the way most American and Asian platforms do. The lug bolt threads directly into the hub, the wheel sits between the head of the bolt and the hub face, and there is no lug stud to align the wheel before tightening. This makes a hub-centric fit more important on an RS4 than on a stud-and-nut car. The centerbore on the B7 RS4 is 57.1mm. The B8 and B9 RS4 generations also run 5x112 but moved to a larger 66.56mm hub bore (the same step the A4 and S4 made at the B8). The bolt pattern is the same, but the hub bore is not.

The 5x112 bolt pattern is shared with the rest of the modern Audi sedan family (A3, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8) and the VW Group passenger-car siblings. It is NOT the same as the 5x130 pattern Audi used on the first generation Q7 SUV. The B7 RS4's 5x112 / 57.1mm spec matches the B7 A4 and B7 S4 in terms of bolt-up, but the RS4 brake package and the wider RS4 fenders make the practical offset window tighter than either of those cars. Why the RS4 Brake Package and Fender Box Determine Wheel Fit

The B7 RS4 ships with the larger Brembo brake package, well beyond the standard A4 and the warm S4 of the same year. That is the normal configuration on a full-performance sedan, where the front brake handles the bulk of the braking force and gets the bigger caliper and rotor. The practical consequence for wheels is that the minimum aftermarket diameter on the B7 RS4 sits at 19 inch (vs 15 inch on the base B7 A4 and 18 inch on the B7-era S4) and the offset window is tighter because the larger Brembo caliper face sits closer to the back of the wheel. Quattro AWD is standard on every RS4. Drivetrain is not a fitment variable on the RS4 because every car is AWD, and the square (non-staggered) factory fitment is consistent with the Quattro setup.

The RS4 also runs slightly wider fenders than the standard A4 to accommodate the wider factory wheel and wider front track. A wheel sized for an A4 will bolt to the RS4 hub, but the offset may not match what the wider RS4 fenders are sized for. We measure the RS4 separately for this reason. If you want the RS4 wheel look on an A4, talk to the team to confirm offset and clearance before ordering.
