The Audi SQ5 Bolt Pattern

Every SQ5 ever built uses 5x112 with a 66.56mm hub bore. That covers the 8R (2014-2017) and the FY (2018-2024). 5x112 is the Volkswagen Group standard pattern, so the SQ5 shares its bolt pattern with the standard Q5, the A4, the S4, and a broad range of other modern Audi and VW vehicles. Within the SQ5 line, a 2014 wheel will bolt onto a 2024 SQ5 in terms of stud pattern, but the offset and width windows we recommend are tighter on the larger-brake FY and we measure each generation separately.

Worth knowing: 5x112 is NOT the same as 5x114.3 used on most Japanese cars. The two patterns sit roughly 2mm apart and are not interchangeable. If you are cross-shopping wheels off a Honda, Lexus, or Toyota, the bolt pattern will not match the SQ5.

Why the SQ5 Generation and Brake Package Matter

The SQ5 carries a larger brake package than the standard Q5 in both 8R and FY generations. That brake hardware reduces the clearance behind the wheel face and tightens the offset window the SQ5 can accept compared to a base Q5. The 8R SQ5 ran a 20 to 22 inch aftermarket window. The FY SQ5 added a 19 inch lower option for buyers who want more sidewall on rough roads, but kept the same 22 inch top end. Both generations accept staggered as an option (the catalog allows either square or light-stagger), though the factory ships square front and rear on most trims. Aftermarket on the SQ5 leans square for the Quattro AWD weight distribution.

The SQ5 is not the same fitment as the standard Q5 in either generation. The larger SQ-spec front brake hardware on both 8R and FY reduces the clearance window behind the wheel face, and the offset range we recommend on the SQ5 sits more conservative than the offsets we recommend on the base Q5. Wheels that fit a Q5 nicely can foul the SQ5 brake caliper. Always confirm the wheel was fit-tested on the SQ5 specifically.
