The Audi TT is Audi's sport coupe and roadster, sold across three generations: the Mk1 (8N, 2000-2006), the Mk2 (8J, 2008-2015), and the Mk3 (8S, 2016-2023). Audi discontinued the TT after the 2023 model year worldwide, closing the nameplate, so this hub covers a finite window of years. The single most important spec to get right when shopping for a TT is the generation, because the Mk1 ran a 5x100 bolt pattern and the Mk2 and Mk3 moved to 5x112. A 5x100 wheel does NOT bolt onto a Mk2 or Mk3, and a 5x112 wheel does NOT bolt onto a Mk1. Centerbore is 57.1mm across every TT we catalog. M14x1.5 lug bolts across the lineup. The high-performance TT RS variant (Mk3, 2018-2022) is included on this hub because it shares the 5x112 / 57.1mm hub spec with the rest of the Mk3, but its larger Brembo front brake tightens the wheel diameter floor to 19 inch. The Audi TT Bolt Pattern

The TT has run two bolt patterns over its three generations. The Mk1 (8N, 2000-2006) used 5x100. The Mk2 (8J, 2008-2015) and Mk3 (8S, 2016-2023) moved to 5x112. The bolt pattern shift is the single most important spec to get right when buying wheels for a TT, because aftermarket wheels listed for "Audi TT" without a year filter will sometimes default to the wrong pattern. A 5x100 wheel does NOT bolt onto a Mk2 or Mk3. A 5x112 wheel does NOT bolt onto a Mk1. Centerbore is 57.1mm across every TT we catalog. Lug spec is M14x1.5 lug bolts (Audi runs bolts on the TT, not studs and nuts).

Worth knowing: the Mk1 TT shared its 5x100 bolt pattern with the VW Group small-car family of the early 2000s (Mk4 Golf, original Audi A3, early Beetle). The Mk2 and Mk3 TT moved to 5x112, the same pattern as the rest of the modern Audi sedan family (A3, A4, A5, A6) and the VW Group passenger-car siblings. That is not a coincidence: the Mk2 TT moved onto the same Audi MQB-era passenger-car architecture as the A3, which already ran 5x112. If you find used OEM TT wheels and want to know which TT they came off, the bolt pattern is the giveaway. 5x100 means Mk1. 5x112 means Mk2 or Mk3. Why the TT Generation and TT RS Brake Change the Wheel Window

The diameter window steps up across generations. The Mk1 (8N) runs 16 to 20 inch in our measured aftermarket window. The Mk2 (8J) and Mk3 (8S) both step up to 17 to 21 inch. The TT RS variant of the Mk3 (2018-2022) ships from the factory with larger Brembo front brakes than the standard TT or TTS, which pushes the minimum wheel diameter on a TT RS to 19 inch. Front larger than rear brake size is the normal configuration on a performance coupe, so the bigger TT RS front caliper is expected, not a quirk. The TT RS also ships with Audi's iconic 2.5L turbocharged 5-cylinder engine, which is part of why TT RS fitments deserve their own catalog row.

Quattro AWD is standard on every Mk2 and Mk3 TT we catalog. The Mk1 had FWD versions in some markets but the AWD Quattro is the more common North American configuration. Drivetrain does not change the bolt pattern. The TT is a square (non-staggered) fitment across every generation. Aftermarket TT builds occasionally go staggered for the look, but square is the recommended configuration and the one we measure against.
