The BMW 6 Series is BMW's full-size grand tourer line, running from the E63/E64 (2004-2011, coupe and convertible) through the F12/F13/F06 (2012-2019, coupe, convertible, and Gran Coupe) and the G32 Gran Turismo (2018-2019 in North America, continuing in some Euro markets). The bolt pattern on the E63/E64 and F12/F13 generations is 5x120 with a 72.56mm hub bore, matching the broader legacy BMW 5x120 family. The G32 Gran Turismo moved to 5x112 with a 66.56mm hub bore, in line with BMW's broader chassis transition that took the 5 Series, the 7 Series, and the 8 Series off 5x120 in the same era. The F12/F13 6 Series Coupe and Gran Coupe came in both rear wheel drive and X-Drive all wheel drive layouts, which changes the offset window we recommend on the F12/F13. The 640d diesel was a Euro-market trim with the same chassis spec as the 640i. The 6 Series Coupe ended for the North American market after the 2019 model year. The BMW 6 Series Bolt Pattern

The E63/E64 (2004-2011) and the F12/F13/F06 (2012-2019) 6 Series all use 5x120 with a 72.56mm hub bore. That covers the 640i, 650i, and Euro-market 640d trims across both generations, in both Coupe / Convertible and Gran Coupe body styles, in both rear wheel drive and X-Drive layouts. 5x120 / 72.56mm is the legacy BMW pattern shared with the E60/F10 5 Series, the E60/F10 M5, the E63/E64 and F12/F13 M6, the E36 through F80 M3, and the rest of the BMW 5x120 family. A wheel built for any of those cars will bolt to a 6 Series in pattern and hub centering. Offset and brake clearance still need to match the specific 6 Series chassis.

The G32 6 Series Gran Turismo (2018-2019 in North America, continuing in some Euro markets) is the outlier. The G32 GT moved to 5x112 with a 66.56mm hub bore, matching BMW's broader shift away from 5x120 on the 5 Series, 7 Series, and 8 Series. A 5x120 wheel built for an F12/F13 6 Series will NOT bolt onto a G32 Gran Turismo. The G32 GT is closer to a long-wheelbase 5 Series in chassis terms than to the F12/F13 coupe lineup, despite the 6 Series badge. Why 6 Series Body Style and Drivetrain Matter

The F12/F13 6 Series came in two body styles and two drivetrains. The F12 Convertible and F13 Coupe (two-door body) and the F06 Gran Coupe (four-door fastback) share the chassis, the 5x120 bolt pattern, and the 72.56mm hub bore. What differs is the rear track and the factory offset window between Coupe and Gran Coupe, and between RWD and X-Drive. Element measures all four combinations separately. The 6 Series accepts staggered as the typical aftermarket choice on the RWD trims; the X-Drive trims also accept staggered (BMW's X-Drive system tolerates staggered fitment within the windows we publish, unlike the M xDrive system on the F90 M5 which is square-only). 640i / 650i / 640d only changes the engine, not the chassis spec relevant to wheel fitment.

The 6 Series Coupe and Gran Coupe traditional production ended for North America after the 2019 model year. The 8 Series Coupe and 8 Series Gran Coupe took the slot in BMW's lineup starting in 2019/2020 and use 5x112 / 66.56mm.
