Cadillac CT5 Aftermarket Wheel Fitment
The Cadillac CT5 is the mid-size luxury sedan that launched for the 2020 model year as the replacement for the CTS. It rides on the GM Alpha 2 platform with 5x120 bolt pattern and a 66.9mm hub bore across every configuration we measure. The standard CT5 carries four catalog rows on this hub: RWD with Base Brakes, RWD with Sport Brakes, AWD with Base Brakes, and AWD with Sport Brakes. The RWD trims accept optional staggered fitment. The AWD trims run square (same wheel and tire all four corners) so the all-wheel-drive system can rotate tires evenly. The CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing performance trims live on their own hub at /wheels/cadillac/ct5-v. The smaller CT4 sedan, also on Alpha 2, has its own fitment encyclopedia at /wheels/cadillac/ct4. The predecessor CTS sedan is documented at /wheels/cadillac/cts. Element Wheels measures fitment on every CT5 configuration separately.
Find Your Cadillac CT5 Configuration
Pick your drivetrain and brake package to see wheels and rims that fit your specific CT5. Bolt pattern stays 5x120 / 66.9mm CB across all four configurations. What changes is the rear width window (RWD takes wider rears, AWD stays square front-to-rear) and the front wheel-face clearance (Sport Brakes carry a bigger caliper than Base Brakes).
The Cadillac CT5 Bolt Pattern
Every Cadillac CT5 uses 5x120 with a 66.9mm hub bore. That covers all four configurations in our catalog: RWD with Base Brakes, RWD with Sport Brakes, AWD with Base Brakes, and AWD with Sport Brakes (2020 and up). The 5x120 pattern is shared across the GM Alpha 2 sedans, so the CT5 wheel spec sits in the same bolt-pattern family as the CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing performance trims. The 66.9mm Cadillac hub bore is its own spec. It does not match the BMW 5x120 hub bore (72.56mm) or the Lexus LS 5x120 hub bore (60.1mm), so wheels sized for those platforms will need a hub centric ring to fit a CT5 correctly.
The predecessor to the CT5 is the Cadillac CTS, which ran across three generations from 2003 through 2019. The 2nd gen (2008-2014) and 3rd gen (2014-2019) CTS also used 5x120 with a 66.9mm hub bore, so CTS wheels of that vintage can sometimes carry over to a CT5, but the offset windows are different and the CT5 chassis geometry is different enough that a wheel that sat right on a 2014 CTS will not always sit right on a CT5. The 1st gen CTS (2003-2007) ran 5x115 and does NOT fit a CT5. The CT4 sedan, also on Alpha 2 in our catalog, runs 5x115 (inherited from the ATS) on the standard CT4 and CT4-V rows, with a 5x120 spec on the CT4-V Blackwing only. CT4 and CT5 do not cross at the bolt pattern. Compare across the rest of the Cadillac lineup at our Cadillac wheels and rims hub.
Why RWD vs AWD and the Brake Package Matter
The four CT5 configurations split on two axes: drivetrain (RWD or AWD) and brake package (Base Brakes or Sport Brakes). All four share the 5x120 bolt pattern and the 66.9mm hub bore. The wheel windows differ. The RWD CT5 accepts optional staggered fitment in our window. A wider rear wheel and tire (up to 10.5 inch in our aftermarket width range) helps the rear axle put down power on a rear-drive luxury sedan. The AWD CT5 is square only. The all-wheel-drive system asks for the same wheel and tire on every corner so the front and rear axles can rotate together. We do not recommend staggered fitment on an AWD CT5.
Brake package matters separately. The Sport Brakes option carries a bigger front caliper than the Base Brakes setup. Bolt pattern stays the same on both, but specific wheel faces that clear the Base Brake setup do not always clear the Sport Brake caliper. We measure both brake variants on the car. If your CT5 has Sport Brakes, confirm wheel face clearance before ordering. The CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing performance trims carry their own larger brake packages and are documented separately on the CT5-V hub.

How We Confirm Fitment on Cadillac CT5 Wheels
Element Wheels measures fitment on the platforms we sell wheels for, including every CT5 configuration. For the CT5 that means clearance from the wheel to the fender, gap between the back of the wheel and the suspension, front brake caliper height (Base or Sport), hub bore confirmation to the 66.9mm Cadillac hub, lug seat geometry, and turning clearance. At our fitment facility in Chandler, Arizona, the Element Wheels team measures directly on the physical platforms we support. We don't pull specs from manufacturer sheets the way most retailers do. That measurement work is what produced the four-row trim split on this page.
Cadillac CT5 Wheels and Rims FAQ
What is the bolt pattern on a Cadillac CT5?
Every Cadillac CT5 uses 5x120 with a 66.9mm hub bore. That covers all four configurations in our catalog: RWD with Base Brakes, RWD with Sport Brakes, AWD with Base Brakes, and AWD with Sport Brakes (2020 and up). The CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing performance trims share the same 5x120 / 66.9mm spec and live on their own hub.
RWD vs AWD CT5: do they take the same wheels?
Bolt pattern, hub bore, and diameter window are the same (5x120 / 66.9mm, 18-21 inch). The width window is different. The RWD CT5 accepts optional staggered fitment with up to 10.5 inch rear width in our aftermarket window. The AWD CT5 is square only, with 8-9 inch widths all four corners. We do not recommend staggered fitment on an AWD CT5 because the all-wheel-drive system rotates tires evenly.
Base Brakes vs Sport Brakes: does the brake option change the wheel I can buy?
Bolt pattern stays 5x120 / 66.9mm on both. The Sport Brakes option carries a bigger front caliper than the Base Brakes setup, which tightens the front wheel-face clearance. Specific wheel faces that clear Base Brakes will not always clear the Sport Brake caliper. We measure both. If your CT5 has Sport Brakes, confirm wheel face clearance before ordering.
Are Cadillac CT5 wheels staggered?
The RWD CT5 accepts staggered as an option in our window (8-9 inch front, 9-10.5 inch rear). The AWD CT5 is square only. The all-wheel-drive system asks for the same wheel and tire on every corner so the front and rear axles rotate together. Picking a staggered wheel set for an AWD CT5 will cause drivetrain wear over time.
What is the largest wheel I can fit on a Cadillac CT5?
Our measured aftermarket window tops at 21 inch on every CT5 configuration. 19 and 20 inch are the most common picks. Above 21 inch, tire sidewall thins enough that ride quality drops sharply on a luxury sedan and the wheel sits at curb-damage risk.
Do I need hub centric rings on a Cadillac CT5?
Hub centric rings only when the aftermarket wheel has a centerbore larger than 66.9mm. BMW-bored wheels (72.56mm) on a CT5 need a 72.56-to-66.9mm hub centric ring to land hub-centric. If your fitment needs rings, they'll be included with the order.
Will CTS wheels fit a CT5?
The 2nd gen (2008-2014) and 3rd gen (2014-2019) Cadillac CTS both used 5x120 with a 66.9mm hub bore, matching the CT5. Bolt pattern and hub bore match. The offset windows are different and the CT5 chassis geometry is different enough that a wheel that fit a 2014 or 2017 CTS will not always sit right on a CT5. The 1st gen CTS (2003-2007) ran 5x115 and does NOT fit a CT5. See the CTS hub for predecessor fitment details.
How do I find the right wheels for my specific Cadillac CT5 build?
Three steps. Confirm your drivetrain (RWD or AWD) and your brake package (Base or Sport). Use our Year/Make/Model search to see wheels that fit your specific CT5 (each listing shows its own offset) and browse the wheel gallery for real-life builds. If you are on Sport Brakes, contact our team for a free fitment consultation before ordering. Every wheel we recommend is backed by the Fitment Guarantee.
